I'm sorry I can't tell you much about Temasek as it is more than 2km from my shortlist of schools
But you can try visiting the school to have a look/get a feel or their website for school's info at:

or maybe ChiefKiasu can help answer...
I'm also in the phase 2C but 1-2km away around almost every schools here. Hoping for the best... -
Tao Nan is the most popular school in the regrion. I am hoping that daughter can go there next time. But very hard to get it.
Tanjong Katong is like an international school with many foreigners, at the price of local schools. Pros and cons of having foreigners in the school, I guess. -

Hi,
My boy is @ N2 and we are not locals here. I'm just completely green about the Primary 1 system here and which schools are good around the East coast side. Can someone be nice to give me some advices on good schools? I know there's one around this region and the name is Tanjong Katong Primary School. Is this one good?
Appreciate your precious advice. -

Hi andychan2002, the most popular school in the Marine Parade area, by far, is Tao Nan, which is arguably amongst the top 5 academic schools in Singapore. If you are closer to the north and within range, you may consider Kong Kwa and Maha Bodhi. Tanjong Katong is also a good school.Hi,

hi all
Was reading the kiasu forum for months and then finally decided to become member today.
Need your opinion : I am SHHK member and would like to try for Tao Nan in Phase 2B for my eldest daughter who will register this year.
Supposedly , I did not get into phase 2B, should I confirm Ngee Ann if there is a vacancy in Phase 2C or try Tao Nan again in Phase 2C (subject to balloting). :? We stay within 1km of Tao Nan and between 1-2 km of Ngee Ann.
Thanks ! -
Based on last 2 year, 2B within 1km all got into Tao Nan.

however, due to the change in pri system to go single session, they may cut down intake as well as alot of new developments in the east area, just worried that may not get in.
Even Huay Kuan said that it’s getting tougher and tougher by the year.
