Not very fussy, saving $ is my concern... kekeke... anyway I'm kind of tone deaf... it's more for the benefit of my kids and the piano teacher 😓

May I have the contact to the person that does the tuning for your piano?

I know a technician that worked for yamaha for many years. He thinks once a year tuning is good enough. It also depends on your piano. There was once we didn’t tune for almost 2 years, when the tuner came, he said there was very little tuning he had to do as our piano is very stable but he said even so, still better to tune once a year to prevent the string getting metal fatigue, that means, the strings sort of harden and snapped when stretched, just like we tear our muscles if we suddenly overstretch ourselves after long break from exercise.

Generally if it’s not heavily used then once a year is sufficient.

Thanks Faun. Do you think I can have the contact to the technician that does the tuning for you? What are his rates?

That technician is now doing his own piano business, he charges $90 I think for tuning because of his experience. He's too expensive for me. I don't get him to tune. I pay $50 tuning, if you want tuner's contact i pm you.

Agree with you you're very blessed to have a piano at home. Now your house will fill with music, enjoy.... 😄

                    Beeb and lucky,

Sorry, give me some time. I changed handphone and lost tuner’s number. I can get it from my piano seller, waiting for his reply.
