Very good performance indeed . Nice and cute. Good team work.

The main point I wanted to point out was as there was a total of 10 classes in Primary one. When almost two to three classes already performed, I realised that most of the parents went out (I do not know they went home or what) without watching the other class childrens to finish their performing. 😞

I felt bad for this childrens as they really put in a lot of hard work on this performance . You can imagine how the childrens would feel seeing those empty seats? 😒 As what I understand that the school asked to confirm the actual number of people attending this Mini Concert.

There shouldn't be any empty seats left till the end of the concert, right?
😞

Others parents should also supports other class students /Childrens too, Right. Cannot just see your own childrens performance then just went off.

My girl was under the first three classes, really felt so sad for the rest of the childrens.
It's ok lah, since it's just an informal concert.
DS was 1 of the last few classes to perform but I don't mind the empty seats, as it afforded us a better view (we were seated quite behind).
hahahaa...:b

Don't think DS minded too, as he managed to spot us. πŸ˜‰

Sorry if someone has asked / answered this question before :

Is Nan Chiau Primary a feeder to Nan Chiau High School, now that it is designated as SAP school ?
My understanding previously is that NCPS is NOT affiliated to NCHS. Actually I dun understand why since both are by SHHK.
I've just checked w bookshop this a.m. Booklist is avail from this Thurs but books only avail during the sch hols & the store opening dates will b on the list.

Time-table will b avail only on 1st few days of sch but try not to pack too many activities on weekends until u hv a feel of the homework load during weekends. Some classes seem to hv more than others.

Maybe easier to just order from Popular πŸ˜‰

Just checked but NCPS not in its list of sch or bcos the booklist not avail yet? :?
I saw most sch there, even Nan Chiau High. Dunno why NCPS always so slow....:(

Hi hi,

My child is one of the last batches to perform. Initially, felt quite bad that the crowd was thinning But after awhile, like what Vevey said, it is actually quite ok coz I could go all the way to the front πŸ™‚ At the end of the day, my kiddo had fun with his classmates and that is the most important

I just ordered online from pacific bookstore that managed the sch's bookshop. πŸ™‚
Decided not to buy chinese character cards yet until teacher wants it.

Even tho Popular is 10cts cheaper per bk, we will still need to get some English bks & worksheets from Pacific, so the minute savings is not worth the hassle of running 2 places. No wonder no NCPS parents fax the booklist to Popular (yet).
hahahaa...:b

Must we buy books on that? Will it run out if I buy another day? Disappointed that letter never mention how much is each (e.g. books) so that we know how much to bring....
Check the details on http://www.pacificbookstores.com
In fact, just order online & pay by credit/debit cards!

Hi, I am considering NCPS for my boy. Was wondering for parents with kids already there, how do you find the principal and teachers in the school on the whole? Do they push alot just on academic results or do they care for the development of the student as a whole person in all aspects? Appreciate any useful feedback. Tks

Also, i’m not sure if its too late for me to join the SHHK now if my son is born in 2006.

Tks for the feedback on the enrichment courses πŸ˜„

Went to Orientation Day at the sch today; the performance by the students were great. DS had an assessment done in his new classroom and returned with a letter advising us to sign him up for English enrichment.

I understand there's some assessment today on English, Maths & Chinese but didn't know got letter. I will ask my son.

I also signed up for both the 10-day english & chinese enrichment courses. There are also many weekend prog when school starts. Any parents actually let your child attend such CCA from P1? I like many of the prog (like badminton, wushu, arts etc) but timing seems to clash with each other and add up to be quite expensive. Any advice if I should let my son to go for such things at P1? I also heard that for badminton, if don't join from P1, they won't accept when at P3. Is that true? Tks.
