So called victim took on the role of personal assistant knowing well what he is getting into - still went ahead as he 'enjoyed' the status and promotion. Guess when it became too much, he tell. This is certainly not true..We even have 12 men sharing a bunk in the army. What is there to scream about with two men sharing a hotel room? It is also not uncommon for 3-4 friends to squeeze into a room on backpack trip. Or do you mean it is more ok for two unrelated, a man and a woman to share a room? Let's don't get too homophobic.

for business trips, the standard practice is no sharing of hotel room


if due to budget constrains, book cheaper hotel, not by sharing room

For business trips, sometimes requirement is to share hotel rooms, esp if it’s in a particularly expensive city where there are no so-called cheap rooms due to time of year etc…


anyway, it’s very sad that the verdict has come to this…

i guess for ourselves, is not to judge and tsk tsk abt it, since no one is without fault in this world… and just to guard ourselves, since we can fall in little ways and big ways without warning…

Having said that... we should not condone any moral error regardless of how successful or intelligent the person is.
Most ppl would just look the other way... while a lesser few would be the whistle blower.
e.g.... LTA fraud case... MOE scholar porn case...
