I am really \"amazed\" at the efficiency of the PH's admin during a crisis like that! I wonder whether they did something about it after that incident?

          VERY MUCH DOUBT SO ....
ALL U Need to Do is To Read thru the Recent Threads on How The PH Admin Handling \"MUNDANE\" Day-to-Day Enquiry Experience By Other Mummies,
The Feeling is Very Much :x :x

So What Can U Expect In Times of Crisis???? 😒 😒

So We Need to Take Our Own Precautions - la ....

Ya, I know, was one of those mummies. I just thought maybe I could try and think more positively on the PH admin. Sigh...shouldn't have raised my hopes.

            E3:
Thanks, comfy. In that case, I may let her participate for the fun of it, exercise. Dd had already attained her Gold Swim Award some months back, that's y I thought if they are going to teach them how to swim, it might be a waste of her time. Since they have nothing else to do in school, might as well go, join her friends and have fun at the pool.

Wow E3, your dd is fast. My ds only about to be certified for level 2 of the SwimSafe programme. Think gold should be at level 6.

              Funx3,

Your story is scary man! Luckily your dh managed to maintain his composure. PH admin surely can do better than that.

Come to think about it. It's even more scary if those thugs didn't return call because they knew that the game is up. That meant they were actually spying on your family :nailbite: . Iirc, the penalty for kidnapping in S'pore is mandatory death penalty.

Haha. Swimming, I don't bother much. It's up to her. I am only 'in-charge' of studies. Hehe. My understanding is all switched to the new swim syllabus now, which will teach life-saving skills. M not sure what level she's in now. Just let her continue on to keep fit lor. My no.2 started lessons this year. Our objective is just to let them have this lifeskill, that's all. πŸ˜‰

Does that mean they have to stay back after school almost every day? Or is it conducted during school curriculum?

Yes, She Stays Back Every Mon, Wed, Thu in School 2pm to 5pm for the Gym Training.

                        Mind U - School Ends at 1.30pm ....
Normally She Rush Back Home (We Stay at Nearby Toh Yi), change into Her Gym Attire, and Rush Out Back to the School BackGate B4 1.50pm (BackGate Closure Time)....

Sorry, LUNCH is Not on the Agenda, Coz How to Exercise So Close to Training Time at 2pm?
(Normally She Eats Something During Her Recess and Has to TAHAN until Dinner Time ....)
And Coach Normally Will Extend Practice till ~5.30pm, Sometimes Even 6pm ....

And the 4th Lesson is a 3 Hr Session External Gym Training at Bishan Sports Hall on Sat 12noon to 3pm ....
Reason : PH School DON'T HAVE the FULL Floor Mat to Practice the Full Routine ....
Need to Practice to Cover the Whole Area of the Floor Mat Doing the Routines in Time to the MUSIC as well ....

Actually there is Another Session on Sun 4pm to 6pm at Bishan As Well, But Due to Clash of Schedule with Her NAFA Chinese Dance Classes at 3pm to 5pm,
So She Has ONE Class Less to Attend (And ONE Class LESS to PAY, Phew!)
