      Hi Chateline,

Can provide your maid agency contact? I’m looking for a Indo maid to look after my father who has a stroke. Preferably looking for one with nursing experience. I need a reliable agency who can recommend me one who is willing & patient with elderly.

HI! Anyone here knows how much and what airline goes to Yagoon Mynmar? I dont recommend a transfer for my maid.

Singapore Airlines's subsidiary - SilkAir. Prices range from $444 for roundtrip if I'm not wrong.

Does budget airline go to Myanmar? If there’s, wouldn’t it be cheaper?

Think my maid agency use budget air send my ex-maid home, cost less than $200.

              Hi moonee

Did you check with the maid agency if they can book the ticket for you? My maid agency did the booking for me and use budget air, etc which cost less than $200.

Saw advertisement - jetstar flying to Yangon, lowest price $88. You can try on the web.

Honestly, with budget air now so prevalent, I'm clueless if employers have to pay for baggage allowance. If a maid is good, I don't mind; if not good, I rather she leave with her tiny bag.

Hi Thanks all for ur response, my agent quoted 480 dollars and thats not including the transport etc… actually they want to transfer her for the third time n make more bucks out of her despite knowing her bad work and attitude. Shes been here for 9 months n Im here 2nd home.

I guess in the event they dnt transfer her they may make me bear for her fare back .
All the agents i encounter will try to make the employers pay for the airfare if they dnt get to transfer the maid. Thats not fair!

Agencies usually try to make another attempt to sell 'rejected' maids. That's one month pay for the maid. The last maid I had actually found another employer, went for Hep B blood test as per new employer's request...but she changed her mind and asked to go home. So agency made her pay for her own air ticket home.

I met the new maid for the first time - seems ok, quite positive vibes although some mistakes were made. Would like to check with other employers of Myanmar maids, is it a common thing for the maid to be singing/humming as she do things? I was having my dinner and she was busying around the house, humming and singing.

Sorry, not quite used to the sound. Just a bit wondering if she’s ok up there.
