If it was just the maid with the girl, yes I would have told the girl off. But I wouldn't touch the girl, in case she fell and the situation gets distorted.Hi duriz
Err... Just say right in front of that kid \"How could you push my girl off her bike!\" Then quickly drag the girl off the bike return to your girl. Look at her with disgust.... hehehe So bad of me hor.
But if there is a guardian around, I would expect them to discipline their charge. And if they didn't, I'd be upset at their behavior and not the child's.
I wouldn't like someone else to discipline my DD either. -
Hi duriz
I would have shouted at that maid ... \"Hey, you come back. Do you think you own that bike?\"
To the grandmother:\"Shall I push your granddaughter on the floor and say the same time?\" At least apologize la, make such a remark.duriz:
The maid ignored DD who was on the floor and I, who had rush to help DD up. The maid then pushed the older girl on DD's bike as if it was common property. The older girl's grandmother looked at DD and I and said:\" 不跌倒不长大!\" I retorted:\"被推倒可不一样!\"

Hi duriz
Err.. I mean carry her off the bike and let her sit on the floor.
If I hear no apologies from them or discipline their kid on the spot, I would just tell them off as I mentioned earlier.

Can you just explain to the 4 years old that the bike is not hers and she should not push the 1 year old toddler? It is dangerous. Can you all use reasoning instead of being angry or use retarliating violence which is useless. For an adult to use violence on a 4 years old even though she was wrong for pushing the 1 year old is even more wrong. You will degrade yourselves to the 4 years old.Hi duriz

If I hear no apologises from them or discipline their kid, I would just tell them off as I mentioned earlier.

Hi WeiHan
Err... If they have no compassion, wouldn't the handicapped be bullied? Worst still, they have no ways to retaliate back.
Little animals... I fear for their life.WeiHan:
I think there is no need to shame the parents but agree that there should be many creative ways to educate and inculcate these children to be gentle and loving in nature.
Why not send these bullies to look after handicapped children or little animals? -
Hi WeiHan
Do you mean if I carry her off the bike is not right? That's considered violence????
Of course, I will explain to the little girl that it's not right to push other kids and is dangerous as well.
May I know which sentence/word that I comment here indicate that we use \"retarliating violence?\"
Based on duriz's comment, they neither feel remorse nor apologetic and continued to ride off with the bike + funny remark.
BTW, \"tell them off\" at my last sentence is meant for \"tell the adult off and not that kid, pls read properly\".WeiHan:

For an adult to just carry a 4 years old out of the bike with anger is itself a violent tendency. Even though you don't injure the child in anyway by doing that, but you are using your superiority in strength to resolve the issue. -

Gosh I'm amazed by the example granny and maid is setting. Maybe you could have told grandma that 不问自取就是小偷!Hi duriz
