Ya, I was actually thinking of asking tanzyjac if her birthdate is very yin.

Err...just curious...how do you know whether your birthday is very yin or not?

Use the Chinese lunar calendar, I think. Cos my sis was born in August, which is 7th month. My mom said that my sis suay to be born in yin month. I'm not sure if it was also yin day and yin time. On the other hand, I have a lot of yang qi so \"they\" don't really bother me. I only know of them when my parents and sis act a bit weird or if there's a funeral downstairs. Nevertheless, I am also very careful during the 7th month.

I don't think my birthdate is very yin, I always visit this fengshui master, didn't hear her mentioning.

I understand alittle on TongShu... I think those not good days are the '破日‘- I heard my MIL complaining because one of my nephew is born on this day. She said alot of bad lucks will fall on him - I don't know if it's true. My DH is born on this day - so far so good for him lor but no toto/4D lucks, career wise ok.

Well, I think I had a brush with the yin things was because I had angered them. Remember my earlier posts on how I witnessed my father's sudden death? He was on a lying down position and using his hands to push something away from his chest. He died less than 1 minute later. The post-mortem result was he had died of respiratory failure.

As I had withnessed the whole event, I started to \"scold\" those beings - cursed them... that's why when I was sleeping near my father's altar not long later, those few black figures came wanting to bring me to my father.

So, I always tell my daughter, do not curse and swear at anyone.

me born in Aug too… don think I am sensitive to such things either except for some occasions when I catch shadows black/white at the corner of my eyes hope that stays that way.

I think tanzyjac was unfortunate to have stayed in the building with lots of incidents. good thing the huanted block got demolished…

If my understanding is not wrong, you can go check your 4 pillars from any fengshui website, e.g. this http://www.wofs.com/index.php?option=com_custompages&Itemid=88, lilian too's website.

Key in your English date of birth, time of birth and gender, will show your pillars in year, month, day, hour. Inside, it will also tell you your element - 5 elements in 金,木,水,火,土, plus tell you whether it's yin or yang element.

DS1 has most yin elements, my tenant too. So maybe explain why.

winth... I think we found your most worthy contender in tanzyjac for the Most Scary KiasuParent of the Year Award. We'll hold the finals on the last day of the Chinese Seventh Month and crown the winner with... um... something. I'm open to suggestions.

wa... no choice liao... got to dig up more ghostly encounters to scare the **** out of fellow forummers liao...

anyway, we are selling this house liao... think no matter how we cleanse, it's still going to be infested.

DS1 told me a week ago that now the charm no more power liao and refused to wear the charm for days. the token turned yellow too instead of the original copper colour. he kept putting the charm near the buddha thinking that it'll restore its 'power' (like charging battery). but i thot it was quite clever of him.

my brother (the usual one) came up to my house to have his face done up (he comes sometimes to let me extract all his black heads and pimples). i related this charm incident DS1 told me. he looked at the charm and told me all its power is sucked away liao. he managed to restore the power while DS1 was away.

the next morning, i put the charm on DS1 and casually asked him, 'is the charmed charged with power now?' He nodded his head and said, 'yap. it's powerful now.'

Actually, there is always a ying and yang earth, ying and yang water, etc. The BaZi is based on the year, month, date and time we are born. E.g. today 22 May 2009 at 11pm, the Bazi is 壬子,戊辰,己巳,己丑。 These are the four pillars of each's BAZI, in sequence of time, date, month and year.

戊 and 己 both symbolizes wood, one is yang wood and the other is a ying wood. 壬 is yang wanter while 癸 is a ying water. Of course, the ying ones are the slightly weaker one compared to the yang ones. But it doesn't mean that the person is very very weak. It look at the day master which is 戊 and whether its energy is depleted by the month 巳 and time 子 or not, or on contrary, whether the 巳 and 子 and other characters help to give the day master energy...

very chim hor.. I also not very good at it.

BTW Chief, I thought this thread is on "About fengshui and supernatural stuff"

I have a combination of both to tell.

My MIL has stayed in their 3rm flat for the past 30 yrs. She has always been complaining of people doing black-magic on her - she blamed it on those who had grudges against her. She said she would heard man voices shouting at her in her bedroom. She is staying with my FIL only.

She had tried to get as many temple mediums to help her, one even suggested of doing a "chao du" for her late MIL - which cost us a total of $10K+ because it was a 3 days event - like those doing funeral wake.

Then she got another one to check on her guan yin alter - so she also listened to them, bought a new guan yin and had a new altar table.

Then a year ago, she complained of chestpain. She even looked very pale. So we decided to send her to SGH, she stayed for 7 days but still reports show all normal.

When she got home she started to get worse, she said the "man" kept cursing her to die, and even tried to "strangle" her while she was sleeping. All these while, my FIL only complained once, he was sleeping in the living room when he saw a dark figure walking pass him.

Their question is why the black figure able to come into their house? When they have the "tian gong" and guan yin around.

Anyway I got my fengshui master to help her. The rest of the details too long… so I cut it short here… After all settled, my MIL sent the guan yin and tian gong to the temple, discard the altar… She even said that that "man" came to her one night and told her she had won.

So far, never hear her complaining about the dreams, dark figures, "man", etc…

She is now more cheerful and lively. She still pray at temple.

Sorry, my mistake. Correct one is 戊 and 己 both symbolizes Earth, one is yang Earth and the other is a ying Earth. 壬 is yang wanter while 癸 is a ying water.
