Hi everyone, am a very happy mum...my son got 266. The top in his school is 276 and he is fifth in the school. He was keeping his fingers crossed that he would be able to go to RI. Now, I think his dream will be fulfilled. He got 3A* and an A. Thanks to everyone on this Forum for being such a wealth of information.

My son got 195 points. He got B C B. He is exempted from mother tongue. It may not be a very good mark for some of you but I am extremely proud of him. He got a chance to chose NA or Exp. Why am I proud of him? Because he has a learning difficulty and still managed to do this well. I know the amount of anixiety he was under before the exams. But he still made me proud. I am sure he will be model to other children with learning difficulties. We have decided to opt for NA in a school with good special needs support. All the best all 2010 students you have done your best.

Thank you ! I was in shock just now at school. I couldn't believe that I got 4 A*. I read through KSP topics on PSLE Science and realised I made a lot of mistakes so indeed this score was a great birthday gift.

Thank you for your compliment. I have decided the following as my choices. Because of the financial strains and distance, I am unable to go many of the IP schools.

1st Choice: DHS
2nd Choice: NJC (it is far, but I really like the school)
3rd Choice: Anderson
4th Choice: Cedar Girls
5th Choice: Xin Min Sec
6th Choice: Nan Chaiu High

Are they wise choices? I'm going down to each school tomorrow to see the distance and the environment with my mom.

Hi. Did you get the EESIS scholarship? That would help you in terms of going to the IP schools. You should consider RGS and NYGH.

Just as I guessed, you have made very wise choices, but I hope you don't mind Auntie here giving you some advice?

I would put this :

DHS
NJC
Cedar
Anderson
Xin Min
Nan Chiau

In order words, switch Anderson and Cedar, considering that Cedar is going IP in a few years time, but seriously, I think with your results, you probably won't even be needing your 3rd and 4th choice! :celebrate:
