Check the sealed print out that came with your results. That's the one where they tell you what scholarships you got, third lang options etc.

      Good luck!
      Nope, don't have . 😞

I would say go for your gut feeling. I am sure DHS must have left some impact on you that's why you prefer DHS over NYGH for eg.

:ugogirl: You have this Auntie's full support! I am sure your parents must be as proud of you as this stranger is! :celebrate:

You see, I have got 255 for PSLE this year, but the thing is, I would like to go to Dunman or NJC, what are my chances? (Including my distinction in HMT, and I have 2 A*s for Math and Chinese, As for English and Science)

I somehow feel more at home in DHS than in NYGH.

Plus I'm not offered ESSIS. So I would prefer DHS to NYGH.

Thank you for your support ! ^^

My son got 195 points. He got B C B. He is exempted from mother tongue. It may not be a very good mark for some of you but I am extremely proud of him. He got a chance to chose NA or Exp. Why am I proud of him? Because he has a learning difficulty and still managed to do this well. I know the amount of anixiety he was under before the exams. But he still made me proud. I am sure he will be model to other children with learning difficulties. We have decided to opt for NA in a school with good special needs support. All the best all 2010 students you have done your best.

                :imcool:
Great! DS also having learning difficulties, attending Dylexia sessions. Great to know that there are parents out there going through same things, and still proud of their kids. DS is top 10 in P1 this year in his school, counting from bottom.... Yet still proud of him πŸ˜‰

                  what's EESIS?

The EESIS are awarded up to the top one-third of the total number of Secondary One pupils admitted to all Independent Schools (IS), based on their PSLE results.

The EESIS is also awarded to P6 GEP pupils who are Singapore Citizens and who

                  1. meet the P6 GEP promotion criteria, and

Does your 255 include your HMT? If yes, then that gives you 258. But if no, I would say can try, but chances are not that high as Dunman's COP last year was 258 and NJC, 257. But bear in mind that the HMT is of no use to NJC.

So your actual result is 252+3 ?

255 can be used for DHS.
252 can be used for NJC.

                      Your chances are slim.
I get 259+2 and my chances for DHS and NJC are borderline.

                      DHS Cutoff: 258-260
                      NJC Cutoff: 257

                      Good luck !
