Does anyone know MSβ PSLE top score?

Thanks smurf! SJIJ has a better score! Surprisingly, Catholic High didnβt get a better score than 271. With the GEP program, thought they would get higher results.

No worries.

Cath high should have better score, but dunno why. :? -

GEP doesn't really mean the kids will do well in PSLE. In my experience in teaching GEP kids, there are basically 2 types of GEP kids: The Math/Science type and the Languages type. The first group usually can do very well in Sci and Math. The second group can write very well. They have a flair in languages. Many of them may not score well because of their MT as well.
One thing is for sure, they are intelligent and pick up concepts really fast.

Looking at the highest PSLE Aggregate Score (MOE dun use T-score anymore) may not be a good indication. For me, I rather look at the median score as it is a better indication. Just my 2-cent worth. No worries.

If you are a teacher in a GEP school, why didn't you put your kid in your own school? :? -

I taught in the GEP in a secondary sch many years back. I didn't know teachers can go in Phase 2A1. If I had known, I'd have tried to apply to teach in CHS. Am considering transferring to teach in MSH now that my son is in MSH. If they have vacancy, I may just try.

Haha - Well - it might work against you as well.... Maybe if you were a teacher in CHS - you might end up not wanting to put your kid there cos you see for yourself first hand how the situation is!

Btw - was reading the other thread on the Stellar Program - and now its getting me very curious...
So is MS on Stellar or not?! Cos we bought a Stellar Handwriting book BUT we still have a English grammer Text!
