Wonder why they didn't take up the offer then. Must have very understanding parents and very valid reasons to stay put. :salute:
Yup confirmed, both scored 276. I heard they were both offered GEP but didnt take it up.S6169:

I think we have to give credit when credit is due. If PH's results dropped, imho it is fair game to criticize the sch's effort. Likewise, the opposite is true too.Believed efforts come more Fr students n their parents.
What PHPPS do to help them to get their PSLE high scores ?
Just my thoughts, no offence intended pls  . -

Yup, a colleague told me that for their P1 next yr, first few days of sch, parents have to go attend talks... teachers will share their teaching methods.. so that parents can reinforce at home .. scary leh.. they start training PARENTS fr P1!!.. no wonder results are so good..
IS Rosyth a GEP School?dyh:
Well done to PHPPS.
Only Rosyth has more than 2 pupils in the top list. -

Kevin Chan's result was expected...he was P's trump card...his father is a specialist medical practitioner, easy going person who didn't give pressure to his kid....his mother did the job...and he was very self disciplined and very impt..no tv...Happy Mama:
Pench, I think highest in nation is 282...
Wow, the top student Alex Tan's motivation is his grandmother. -

This year there were only 20 schs with students scoring 275 & above, much lower than last yr. Since KSP unofficial ranking of primary schs uses only this as a criterion, PH will continue to be 'king' of the non-GEP sch in the KSP chart. This will lead to the continued high demand for P1 places in PH (despite our mixed feedback on the sch here, keke) which in turn will keep the property prices within the vicinity high. Then after 6 yrs I can shift house again & make a tidy profit.

Hi Funx3, What's this suppose to mean ? I think our littles ones can do without insinuating remarks such as yours ... spare a kind thought and words for all kiddos who tried and did their best ok ?!!! :xJennifer:

Got to B .... Cannot Imagine If a FA6 Students Beat CH6, Right?

Just heard that only one of them was offered GEP, Timothy, the head prefect. From the yearbook 2007/08 realised that he has always been the top. whereelse didn’t see the other boy Kevin in the top 10 list. Only managed to find his name in yearbook 2008/09…he is the number 8. Guess he managed to catch up after all the GEP students are transferred out of PHPPS.

confirmed the 2 PHPPS boys both scored 276 with 4A* and distinction in higher chinese.
