How does the child compile and present his portfolio for the past 3 yrs (P4 to P6) and his other achievements? Do we need to prepare 2 sets assuming we intend to apply to 2 schools for DSA?
Does anyone know if NJC / RVHS requires GE kids to sit for all GAT or r they exempted? I know that for HCI, they r exempted but for RI they need to achieve >80% average before they can skip GAT.
Thank u

All DSA applicants for NJC are required to sit for their test, GEP students included.

The number of sets should be equivalent to the number of schools your child intends to apply too.How does the child compile and present his portfolio for the past 3 yrs (P4 to P6) and his other achievements? Do we need to prepare 2 sets assuming we intend to apply to 2 schools for DSA?

Do remember to get the photocopied certificates endorsed by your child's primary school.
And get ready photographs of your child - make sure your child looks bright and smart. -

Do take note of the DSA schedules of the various schools your child is applying to. Someone I know had his Selection Camp at NUSH on the same day as his Selection test at HCI last year. He was forced to give up one for the other. How does the child compile and present his portfolio for the past 3 yrs (P4 to P6) and his other achievements? Any idea, do platinum smops winners still need to gp through the selection test and camp to NUSH? I don't how last year some students could get offer from both HCI and NUSH?

Platinum holders will still need to do the selection test and camp at NUSH. Last year after the selection test and before results are known,, they were selected for the camp.

HCI DSA has 2 phases. 1st phase for GEP and SMOP platinum, gold and silver as well as sports talent. 2nd phase for all the others.
The clash in dates last year was with NUSH camp and HCI 2nd phase. So the platinum holders already attend the HCI phase 1 and then attend NUSH camp. NUSH camp date also clashed with one of the dates for RI half day selection test. When dates clash, you can only choose one to attend.
This year the same - all three clash on july 25. -

Haha.. I guess they know afterall one can attend only one school right?

And how about those who got a gold for NMOP conducted by NUSH? Do they get direct offer from NUSH without having to gone thru the selection test and camp.

I am not sure about the NUSH gold but I do know (for last year) of platinum winners of SMOPS who got letters of offer on the day of application results , they were invited to tea and given confirm offers. The other winners(bronze etc) had to go to the selection tests.
