Good that u had provided accurate feedback to octopusmum regarding CHS. Many times there are people who simply give wrong info/advice which is rather detrimental to parents/kids. -

Saw yr note regarding NGHS vs RGS. You got a good pt! -

Good idea, but I think I would leave it to the thread starter, WeiHan to edit it if he deems it fit. -

Very high chance of your son getting into RV given his score. RV is a SAP school, so the HMT can be used, so if accepted, he would be accepted based on the T-sore of 254, which is 3 marks about RV current COP of 251. Good luck.[/quote]Thank you!!!
My son is very interested in RV. He got 252+2. Is it safe for him or not?anxious dad:

All I can say is no harm trying, but no guarantee for anything. COPs fluctuates every year. -
Hi, my daughter scored 254 in her PSLE. She would like to put Dunman High, Cedar Girls', Anglican High and Xinmin Sec for her 1st to 4th choice respectively. Do you think it is ok? She did better in her English language and Science than her Mother Tongue and Math. I'm also concerned whether distance will be an issue if she enters DHS, Cedar Girls' or Xinmin as we live in Tampines. However, I can't find any school in the East Zone having a COP of 250 and above. Any advice?
Thanks.

Wise choices! Even yr dd will to miss the cut on her top choice, she will at least land herself in Cedar. The rest of the options are not critical to you in this instance. -

Hi lizawa, thank you for your advice. My DD score 246+2. Is her chance of getting into St Nic high?[St Nic's is a all girls school. Nan hua is mixed. Both are SAP schools but St Nic's is also a mission school. I believe St Nics standard is slightly higher than Nan Hua. I don't know what is your DD's score but for me, I prefer a all girls' school for my DD to a mixed school.
St Nics is functioning at a temporary location in Toa Payoh and will move back to their upgraded campus. Since the school will become IP in a couple of years' time, I would think that it would get more \"funding\" from MOE. Just a guess. -

What new title do you suggest? I will do it for you. -
