        comfy:

Dd used the same files for p1 and p2. I ordered new ones for p3.

My DD used the same file (pink) for P2/3 (although the form on P2 indicate red).

        Mine too.[/quote]

I did not follow colour rules πŸ˜‰ Just recycle the file if it is still usable.

Anyone bou the new sch uniform n PE attire? I heard the material is different. Boy's shirt is thicker and PE t-shirt is a dry fit type.

i bought the new uniform and the PE t-shirt for my son several month ago.

yes, boy's shirt is thicker but I think PE t-shirt is not 100% cotton.

Teng teng teng teng. Would the parent of comfy's dd please come to the PH thread to reply as my query is causing obstruction to other people queries. πŸ˜‰

Always interesting to hear from a parent's perspective how the decision process was finalized.

Saw the PE tee the other day...no longer the 100% cotton type. Will not be buying anymore tees bcos I don't think the new ones will be sweat absorbent.

I was wondering how chinese class names will be assigned to the new class names? At current, the chinese class names are quite appropriately tagged, e.g Charity is ηˆ±εΏƒ, Faith is δΏ‘εΏƒ, Grace is 恩典, Humility is 谦卑, Joy is ε–œδΉ, Kindness is θ‰―ε–„, Loyalty is 忠诚.

With the new class names, will P1 Integrity become ζ£η›΄, P2 Respect, ε°Šζ•¬, P3 Responsibility, θ΄£δ»», P4 Teamwork, 合作, and P6 Resilience, 弹性 ..boing...boing...boing?

                    :?

Looking forward to the notification letters in Dec. I hope they put in the Chinese class names, shall see how it's like.

My son was advised to drop HCL and take normal CL next year (P5). This has bugged me for a while...some friends advice is that HCL will help the child with CL as it's like θ‘₯ε……. However, son's CL teacher told me he has no interest in CL and to continuing with HCL at P5 will be even tougher on him. 😞

Janet, HCL is helpful for applying to SAP and IP schools, distinction in HCL earns him 3 marks, Merit 2 marks, Pass 1 mark. Do you think it'll be helpful for your son? I beg to differ with what your friends think. HCL may help those who are very good and have strong foundation in CL, in which it will enrich, not supplement. If your son has no interest in CL, then taking up HCL might backfire. Furthermore, the standard of CL is already quite high since P1 and if your son has been coping well, then no probs in taking up HCL. If not, then drop it. PH leaves no room for catching up, especially at P5. If he can work hard and focus better with just CL, he can still do well for PSLE. Look at the big picture. πŸ˜‰
