      Finally, but still unsure…

      DS T-score 247.
      Stay in Bishan.

      1) CHS(COP 248)
      2) VS(COP 245)
      3) Anderson(COP 245)
      4) SJI(COP241)
      5) Anglican(COP 240)
      6) Maris Stella(COP 232)

My wife prefer CHS cos nearby.
My son dun mind CHS or VS.
      I prefer VS but far.

My worries…if CHS COP go up this year(possible since IP soon), he will go VS. But this year VS COP may also go up, so may ended up in Anderson(i prefer boy sch).

At the end, we got no chance to appeal cos CHS COP may be too high to appeal and VS cannot appeal cos not first choice.

      Keeping finger cross…

          Hi,

Would like to check whether the school that we appeal must it be stated as first choice?

In the end only the richer parents who can afford better tuition in more expensive centres will be able to help their kids into GEP program to emerge top scorers in PSLE.

I would think that it's fair to say that kids from rich families have more opportunities for expensive (= better?) tution and \"enrichment\" courses BUT not EVERY one of them emerge as top scorers in PSLE. I know of rich families whose children were just so so in their studies despite the amount of tuition they received.

Thankfully doing/scoring well in important exams is NOT the sole priviledge of the kids from rich families! We have many examples of kids from not so well-to-do families who does just as well if not better than kids from rich families ranging from PSLE to O-levels, A-Levels and even at universities.

I have a problem identifying the result for the 2 ACSs.

                    Is ACS Junior the 276?

How come there’s another ACS J with 272 (is it the Barker Road one?)

Barker Road one is ACS (Primary). That one is 276. ACS Junior is the Cairnhill one coming in at 272
