      Hi Jtoh,

      Sorry for the late reply.
Risk assessment was made and result to this conclusion,it was base on very rare possibility of student having the same T score &

      3 Criteria on the selection
      1) IP
      2) SAP
      3) Distance from home.

      Try and fail, no regret.
Fail without trying , very sad.

If I am not wrong, there are only about 8 Sec Sch with cut off above 250.
I have selected 4 ,balance with 2 out of 4.
You make a guess on my 5th and 6th choice πŸ™‚

      Good luck everyone.

Are there only 8 secondary schools with COP more than 250? In any case, good luck! Live without regrets is a good mantra to have. πŸ™‚

So far know of 261 got it. Not sure anyone lower than this. But they may change the criteria. Saw a statement, \" Your child/ward is offered EESIS as he/she has been offer DSA to IS.\" Not sure if all got into Independent school via DSA, whtehter GEP or not get EESIS?
DD got 258 + 2 but only 3rd language being offered and not the EESIS lei. So, may be it's for DSA? BTW, now me and DD not sure should choose IP school or not? If yes, then would be DHS which DD very scared she cannot cope, me too.. worried for her, so thinking of Chung Cheng, we staying East, is this school going for IP ? But also heard that this is a very stressful school too, so we are very confused and afraid DD cannot cope with the very Chinese environment, her Chinese not strong. :?
I know someone with 259+2 also din receive the EESIS. So I believe the COP is 260 for EESIS

I counted 10 schools; see table below
              [font type=\"Courier New\"] SCHOOL LOWER UPPER1 NYHS 263\t 2832 RGS 260\t 2853 RI 259\t 2834 DHS 258\t 2855 HCI 257\t 2816 NJC 257\t 2817 RVHS 251\t 2748 SCGS 251\t 2689 ACSI 250\t 26410 MGS 250\t 261

Bingo , you are very correct.

Mine is daughter with 256 +2, so boy school don’t concern me.
Exclude RI ,Hwa Chong and AC Ind.

                left with only seven schools.

                4 already made known.
                1) NYGH 263
                2) RGS 260
                3) NJC 257
                4) Dunman High 258

                Balance with 3.
                1) River Valley High 251
                2) SCGS 251
                3) Methodist High 250

To guess 2 out of 3. Should be an easy task.
                Btw, what choices u decide?

                cheers

                  Hi ,

Please advise COP for top 3% and COP for top 10 % this year?
                  2009 was 261 and 248 respectively.

                      HI Carrot

yeah, really big headache when we were choosing the schools. on the nite before, dh and i discussed till 3am, still no conclusion. we did eventually decide at about 1pm the next day. like you, trying for IP schools for the first few choices and CHS is the 5th choice.

Your "heart goes pok pok pok" very funny leh! u r right, i think my heart will definitely go pok pok pok that day but from now till then, i have sth else to worry about ie our short trip next week… good to have sth to distract me abit!

Can I still study a 3rd language (jap/german/french) even though my score ain't qualified top 10%? (Haha I know it isn't).

                        Please help?
