millan, it is human to err=) as vivi33 say do not take it too hard.

I cant say much as i am not a parent. But my parents too when they are angry they anyhow scold even when I am not in the issue. They cane me too. I believe most parents' parents here cane them when they are younger too. So don't think so much as to blame yourself.

If you have the time to blame yourself, why dont try to show him more love(not saying that you are not). When he is in a good mood bring him out and have a family day or something. Love definitely can solve things out. (Just buying things are not love :D)

      I šŸ™ for you millan šŸ˜‰

My son got attitude problem.. violence inclined (not in action yet).. and poor interpersonal skills.

Really need help on this :?: 😢 :stupid:
Son is going for the thorough test soon, cost 1300 by IMH.

hi Milan, how old is your son. Was told around sec 4 the boys will be more settled. As parents we need to talk to them like adults and friends then they will not react like that.

Inside my heart , I still hope believe he is ok. He is a very smart boy.. but maybe that is the problem..

The alarming thing is that he like violence, not physical but verbal, not passionate and self centered.. But there are times I saw him having a soft heart..and he dun know the boundary lor. If it is not written, he think can do it cos not agst the rules..

Just want to share I have met a boy who is labeled as \"problematic\". I realized he liked to read books that are related to violence, death ... some books he read looked eerie to me as the cover showed blood, cemetary etc. He talked the world being cruel and unfair, that his mother caned him to vent her frustrations etc ... He is not physically violence but has very negative thoughts towards life. I share my thoughts with him that those books he read might influence his view of life and that he is probably misunderstanding his mother. Somehow later, I saw him reading more motivational books and has a better attitude. I dont think its me but I felt happy to see his improvement šŸ˜„

Hi millan, from your post, i somewhat identify with you, cos my son was just like what you describe your son to be... smart, optimistic yet not able to control his emotions. (I was also very disappointed that he didn't get into GEP. :stupid: ) My son going P5 next year and is undergoing school counselling. Lets do share and all learn together in this journey of motherhood. :celebrate:

Actually for me, I am fine he is not in GEP. If he is not there, then let it be. In fact I fall of my chair when my 2nd son went in. Comparatively, by character, my second son seems to be mre suitable for GEP as he is more 'sensible'. For my elder son, the school commented that they dun handle this type of case, I got to find my own, which is now I am waiting to sent him for diagnostic test on asperger...

He is 13 liao and yet still like bo chap. He just say that he just want to pretend that way but if needed he will be mature enough, but... such frequency is very lille leh haiz...
