I have a girl who did well from RGPS and I am keen to send her to either SJI or ACSI for sec 1. is that possible? Can anyone advise?

      Thanks

Are you interested in the IB program and hence the two schools mentioned. SJI has no IB, only. SJI International has.

      Anyway, all boys schools.

Yes I meant sji international. So there is no equivalent for girls in Singapore?... I don't understand it.
SJI are purely boys school.
ACSI is also purely boys school.
For ACSI, they accept girls starting only from year 5 for the IB prog.

Not sure for international schools ? :?

Which is better - I don't know. There is also HCI International.

Yes, co-ed for sec 1 - but only for those 3 stated INTERNATIONAL schools. The local schools are not co-ed.

Yes. Both ACS(Int) and SJI(Int) are coed from Sec 1, and run up to the 6th year with the IB diploma programme.

As far as I know, for entry at sec1 for girls and to do IBDP program, other than the 3 Singapore-run international schools and all the other international schools, there are 2 other places she can do IBSP at sec1, Singapore Sports School (SSP) and Singapore School of the Arts (SOTA).

For the local run International schools, you need to pay more than $20K per annum for the program. For SSP and SOTA the same >$20K but for citizens, government subsidises alot so SSP - pay $500 a month, SOTA - 350 a month.

                Hope this helps.

For ACS (International) the fees are:

Year 5 to Year 6 S$24,610 per year

I understand though that SJI Intl is full and there is a waiting list. You may want to check with ACS Intl or Hwa Chong Intl.
