      duriz:

Don't worry every woman's body is different.

And even for the same mother, every pregnancy is different.

      :celebrate: Agree with duriz! :celebrate:

No unnecessary cause for alarm, catang. :snuggles:
Or a need to visit the gynae just for this. I too didn't
have menses for a year! In fact, i didn't miss the pads
      or the tampons at all.

      FREEDOM!

i had freedom of 17mths. it only came bk when i stopped wk and hence i stopped pumping my milk at work. i cried when menses came bk cos no more freedom 😒 plus i was scared my milk may soon dry up. heng, it didn't.

I nursed by boys continuously on demand 24-7 (no longer than 2 - 3 hours between feeds, sometimes more frequently, no supplements of water of formula, no bottles etc.) But my menses still returned after 5 months for both 😒

I was so depressed...but the good thing is that the menses is a lot shorter and lighter than pre-pregnancy. and cramping is not as severe either.

Thankfully it didn't dry up since you already made the decision to stay home. :hugs:

As for the freedom, that's why the myth that breastfeeding moms can't
get pregnant is untrue. :politebleah: A close friend of mine conceived
her #2 and #3 baby on the 4th month.. :faint:

I joked with her that she's too solid for her husband to resist.

She doesn't drink less... that's the thing.

She drinks the same even though already on solids... lotsa solids.
Her milk is taken slightly after her meals.
                24hr-mum:
                u pumped 3hrly at wk?
Yes, i try to do it as timely as 3 hourly... as much as possible. *pant*
Or else, my boobs wud be damn engorged! It is very painful! 😒
And rock hard! If i am late expressing by the time the cycle comes
in, my breast pads would be overloaded and my top would start
showing leak stains... when it leaked, it hurt!

It is convenient for me as i had my own office. Only the sounds are a bit distracting.
I was using the Medela electric. πŸ˜„ It's the best invention a bf-ing mommy can have. πŸ˜‰
Expensive... but worth every penny. πŸ˜‰

I was just one of the many who just had too much. πŸ˜›
It's like a running tap! :faint:
                24hr-mum:

I used bottles given & sterilized by the hospital. I had additional freezer space as well. πŸ˜„

I had to ask a friend how she made hers stop eventually as i found it a hassle to still
express when DD1 no longer wants to drink it directly... even nights she'd just ask for
bottle. So, i concentrated on trying to get it to dry up... boy... it wasn't an easy feat... :faint:

So that i could then concentrate the nights for the daddy. πŸ˜‰

It was good to say bye-bye to jet sprays during game nights..

oic. that is how the age gap between 2 kids can be just 1 year.

i always wonder how 1 child is eg p1, the other p2

pregnant one... you arh...\" That's what happened to my friend
