Quite a number of them got acceptance replies from RI liao, attended briefing already too
Thanks for sharing. That means no chance liao if haven't receive letter
Looks like it's easier to get into RI via S1 posting, even 10 pts clear off their COP is unable to get in :?
those receiving acceptance letters from RI's supp DSA after PSLE result released - scores ranged from 262 to 272[/quote]2 boys, scores 265 & 269, both from academic domain were unsuccessful in their 2nd round of DSA selection, however accepted and DSAed into another school. Both still waiting for their reply. Just wondering why the acceptance/rejection letter to all were not sent out at the same time? -

Could it be due to poor performance in the first round DSA GAT ? What about those who did not apply RI DSA before but DSAed confirmed to another school? Is their appeal considered supp DSA (or 2nd round )?

For those that already accepted their dsa postings to other schools should honour their undertakings rather than trying for the supplementary dsa even if their PSLE T-score is within RI cop.
The above situation creates uneccessary hazzle for other schools. Anw, RI must hve their reasons for rejecting their dsas. It is also an area of concern as it shows that the pupils may not be cut out to excel in a very competitive enviroment.
In the first place, those who are pretty confident of their academic prowess should even accept other offers and wait for the S1 posting excercise. -

Hi, my DS has gotten a PSLE score of 266. Appealed to RI and waiting for results.BryBenMum:
Has anyone received acceptance/rejection letter from RI for their appeal? For students DSAed into another school and t-score is above their COP. Hope someone that have prior experience in this can share with us. Thanks!

Got another school thro' DSA. Had applied under Maths for DSA at RI, but unsuccessful
I called RI today to check on the status. They say that appeal results will be out only after 23rd, upto 29th Dec.

For mainstream student applying for DSA RI academic domain, they have to sit for GAT first then shortlisted for 2nd round 1/2 day selection test based on the domain they applied. Supp DSA applicants just have to take the GAT⦠-
BryBenMum:
If the student appeal using good tscore, does he still need to sit for GAT ?
