So you are going by Braddell Rd. Guess I will try that route too. Any idea where can we park beside Serangoon Central? Anywhere near where we can just walk? I don't mind walking a few hundred metres.
Oh, I intend to join Braddell road from Marymount Rd, then go straight till U-turn. That's quickest and most direct way. Used to drive that route daily to go to Tampines and the traffic moves.
But for first 2 days, we intend to take the MRT from Marymount. I remember they said there will be parenting talks for us while the kids attend their classes. Maybe you can just ask your wife to go on the second day. My dh is also going back to work on the 2nd day. -

Thanks for reminding. Have been busy buying his stuff and we have forgotten about the uniform! Haha... Anyway, waking up early is not a problem for me but having to get my son up at this hour is going to be a struggle. I can forsee myself having to drag him out of his bed every morning. Thanks Namie. Only need to wear tie on Mondays.
Need to start washing his uniform next week. Gotta pack too...
Guess all of us have to start waking up earlier to prepare breakfast too... -

Aiyah, no need to cry lah... just let him choose. They are the ones who have to use them daily.

Haha - Yah. I actually got 4 hardbox type and 4 zip 'case' type - all different designs all (which he had used in school previously)
So i just let him choose which is the final one he will bring to school - but i did 'highly recommended' the zip type cos can throw everything him!!

Haha...ds keeps raving about the hard case that he bot just now...said wah, the box very good hor, can put pencils, etc...
it seems very hi tech to him...

How about the private estates opposite the school? How Sun or Tai Keng I think. But you better recce the day before just in case. I think I will still go via MRT. -

Seragoon Central is actually more conducive than to walk from Tai Keng or How Sun. Choose to park at a car park lot right in front of Blk 413 and you will see S'goon MRT exit A. The car park is ERP gantry style. No need to worry about coupon tearing or traffic Police.bigfoot:

I wonder whether the carparks at serangoon central would be full or not. Anyway, I would still park at serangoon central after dropping my DS and DW at the school. Coincidentally, we were planning to move to serangoon a few months again. We were looking for houses area those few blocks. But we changed our mind later as we feel that with the NEX shopping mall, there would be carpark problem. Now even MSH also encourage parents to park their cars there. If I'm a resident there, I'd surely make noise! HA! -
just curious, if park at nex, still got to take train to msh. isnt it a hassle?
really no plc to park near MSH? -

Are you still gonna move? I'd buy Braddell area if I were you. Just one road straight down to MSH.
As for me, I still have to decide which school I want my DD in before I look for a house to move to. -

It seem like parking at Serangoon Central was the best solution (as recommended by MSH). But they may not want us to park near the private estate as they may have received complaints from residents before. Just my guess.just curious, if park at nex, still got to take train to msh. isnt it a hassle?
