Hi, I’m transferring my DD to another school which is closer to my place. However, I’ve already purchased her BTPS school uniform. Is there anyone who would like extra sets? All items are brand new, have not been laundered. Thinking of selling at half price.
I have the following items:
2 blouses - size 28
2 skirts - size 23
1 set of PE attire - size 28
2 pairs of socks - size M
Can pm me if interested. -

I heard from my ex-colleague that BTPS is a very good sch. His 2 dds are currently studying there. As a matter of fact, recently heard that BTPS produces lots of GEP students every year.
It is a very decent school, nice neighbourhood. My 3 boys started there in P1 n 2 transferred out cos of GEP. 2 of their cousins too. N a few of my friends' kids too. N none of our kids was coached for GEP or had any tuition except for some Chinese tuition. You don't get the kind of resources like in the more popular schools but it's really not bad at all. My son who didn't get into GEP managed a DSA into a premier boy's school through academics n my kids didn't have any tuition except for Chinese at some point so I think your kids are in pretty good hands.mintee:
Just curious, who actually choose BTPS as first choice? :?
NYPS was my first choice, however was balloted out at 2C.
Nevertheless, DS is still excited about BTPS because there is no need to tuck in the school shirt. -
Hi can I check what the recess time will be for lower primary classes? Thanks!

Tks 4 sharing. I hope DS will adapt to the new school.
Even though I have not met you before, I am happy that all 3 sons are doing well. It is not easy job. My 2 kids are smart but no motivation. -

So your boys are one of those GEP kids that my friend was telling me about. Looks like all your 3 kids are very academically inclined. :celebrate:

Thank you, Mapleleaf n markfch:-) Mapleleaf, BTPS was my first choice cos there was no balloting at that time n I knew from my SIL whose 2 kids went there n got into GEP that it was a good school. I also didn’t want to do any PV work – lazy mom:-( so don’t feel too disheartened that you didn’t get NYPS. There are kids in NYPS who don’t do well too, n kids in BTPS who do well.

How are your kids first days at school? Mine was really excited to be going to school.
Just that the hours are much longer compared to kindergarten and he is on a 1h school bus ride home… -
Wow, impressive. Must be very proud having such 3 smart kids! How many students went to GEP last year as I did not get any numbers from the school. I knew in 2009 there were 9 kids.

Do any "experienced" BTPS parents know how does BTPS place the top 80 students in the top 2 classes from P3-P5? Is it top 1-40 in Graciousness, and 41-80 in Respect?
-
Hi Keborah,
Yes, that’s correct. The top 40 students will go to Graciousness and the next 40 to Respect.
