Cyber Scam - How does it work?
-
Mrs. Patricia Wagner just sent me an email.
So sad, I'm about to recceive 4.76 Million Euros from her because she is going to die of cancer, and HIV, and her husband is dead. What is most sad, though, is that she doesn't have any relatives to give it to.... Should I???
And, yesterday, my mum just sent me an email saying she is stuck in Ecuador and needs me to send her a sum of money.... And my mum was watching TV right next to me.... Didn't know I had 2 mothers instead of one  :rotflmao: -
I love these 'ideas'..but what is really dangerous is that these hackers at times do obtain a real person's facebook/email account and password. And they even talk to you over facebook to transfer money over.
my fav are emails from my colleagues' saying that they had a crush on me. there is a link at the bottom of my email to signup for an account at some dating site to find out who they are.. -
Scams involving big sums of money from overseas are pretty obvious that they are out to cheat u. I feel the more dangerous ones are those who conduct bulk purchase on forums. They either send u fake goods or never deliver, there are already so many people falling for it till now be it on singaporemotherhood or hardwarezone.

Hahha. Those are scams. Most of these letters come from Africa.
