May i know how much u do all paid for the PCF uniforms per set? I just bought the uniforms $16 per set, but i happen to see that my friend paid only $15 per set. We bought at different areas. I taught that all the uniforms now are all the same, only the materials might be not same cause different areas different teaching method.

me also paid $15 .. but the PE sets seem cheaper .. i forget abt the price already ... hmm isit due to sizes ??? u bought wat size one ?? mine is S size ..

They wrote all the size is same price. I know the PE is $12.

Ours is $13-16 per set, depending on sizes & whether PE or proper uniform.
PCF uniforms r still different, according to the branches.

I think there is no point comparing which preschool centre is ‘better’. In the first place, ‘better’ in what sense? Being able to count 1-100 and read x no. of words? What about processes like the love for reading and learning? Are these qualities also taken into consideration?

So far, the research seems to point to the fact that good quality preschool education matters more to children from disadvantaged homes, such as those born in poverty, with dysfunctional families etc. The main reason is that these children lack stimulation at home and the preschool is about the only place they get the stimulation.

Most children spend more time interacting with their families than their teachers in preschools; hence the interactions at home is more important. If you want to look for a good quality preschool, look for one that instils the love of learning in your child and staff builds strong relationship with the children in their care.

By the way, I’m in preschool education. Just my personal opinion.

I would also like to find out if any parents here had sent their kids to SparkleTots in Bishan? I am interested to find out more about the centre. So far there is no feedback of any kind in the net. Just want to gather feedback cos I am deciding between this and My First Skool for DS2. Thanks.

Can i do a survey on the snacks that your child's kindergarten centre (pcf) provides?

my eldest was there for the past 3 yrs and there was no change in their varieties - bread and biscuits. i gave feedback and they keep insisting that they are not child care centres so only light snacks. but i do know that some pcf centres provide more varieties like soup and macaroni. now my girl is still there and i want to bring this issue up to them again. so i hope to gather some info here.

                  please state:

                  centre branch -
                  snacks -

                  thanks everyone!!
