I'll think that it's a little heavy to bring 2 days worth of books on the first day though. This confusion & the other one you mentioned about the broadline exercise books (we also only bought 2 btw) don't bode well for our journey into our kids' primary sch journey :lol: . Race haven't start yet, but the horses all got mixed-up already .

We intend to bring only the list containing the health booklet on the first day. Reason is that I think health booklet should be the most impt thing the FT have to settle on the first day of sch.

Recently there were some posts saying that P1 kids going to P2 this year will use Chinese for subject banding. There were also some guesses as to why they picked Chinese. Well, yesterday it suddenly occurred to me that in P2, the top 3 classes used to have more mo xie and cheng yu to learn compared to the other classes. Possibly this is the reason why Chinese needs to be banded in P2 this year since the classes are promoted en bloc?

same issue, e bklist doesnt tally to e required items. I also didnt buy e drawing block bcos it was under optional :s wat to do, just buy on tues lo

drawing block is ok...u can buy it outside, no need to purchase from school bookshop...

Hi I'm new to this forum...my ds failed to ballot successfully at PHPPS at phase 2 C and we were registered at BTPS...then just 3 weeks back, we got a call from PHPPS and that's why i'm here now.


My ds is going to be in Integrity 5 (this is new class for P1).

Mark -> I think i know who u are....i know your sister :lol: and i believe i stay in the same estate as you....hope to learn more from you and some of the other parents as i can see all the parents here are extremely involved!!!!

I get stressed reading this thread...think i don't really do much for my ds except to get him into this sch....

:welcome: to this thread and :congrats: on your entry to PHPPS. Don't let us stress you unnecessarily. Some of us had already gone thru the lower pri system, so some of our postings might not be applicable to you and your kid yet. Take all our postings as information for future, so you can stay abreast of PH's culture and system. Read markfch and Funx3 postings, they are usually very positive and will spice up the thread.
