      Hi parents of P1 students

Did you manage to get the additional broadline exercise books? I was queueing but they ran out of stock. Got to hand up by tomorrow. May have to ask my son to go get himself (if he knows how).

For those senior boys/girls helping out with the P1 kids today, I must say a big thank you. It was a touching moment for me to be back in my old school..new compound yet there is some familiarity, esp recognising a teacher of mine.

The older kids are so good..so patient and polite..I was very very impressed. It shows Pei Hwa and the parents have taught the kids very well.
Big pat on the shoulders ๐Ÿ™‚

He is a nice person and called back to answer an email I sent out to him last year. Patient and polite. When my dd first started schooling in PH, my ex-colleagues who know him had already mentioned to me that he is a wonderful teacher. Get ready for some flying colours!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ :celebrate:
I must tell her later that she is blessed with 2 great teachers this year. Thank God for answering our prayers! ๐Ÿ˜‰

            Thanks for sharings!!

Quite disappointed today ... my DD told the teacher she needed to be placed closer to the front as her eyesight is not very good, and I don't want her to strain her eyes .. FT said OK OK, and next thing she realised, she was placed at the back!!

I wasn't very happy but DD said, \"I think I can understand that it's not easy for him you know, because there are more seats behind than in front\"

Wonder what kind of layout the room has ... :?

where can I get the label machines? Are the refills easily available?

I am using a label machine too. Mine is an old model by the brand Brother. You can get machine, tapes and tape refills from Popular.

Me too. I have the basic 'brother' label printer. It is very useful. We label books, stationeries, bottles etc etc with it. The cartridges come in varieties of colours and width.

your ds started P1 today at PH

so, you cried or your ds cried when you had to leave the school this morning ?

My Guess is .... BOTH LAUGH????

shall wait for him to come here and report ......heeheee[/quote]I'm terribly busy at work this week so I couldn't take leave today. But though I'm physically at work, my heart kept thinking about what ds is doing at PH.

The first thing he told me when I picked him up is that he spent $1.70 on a can of soft drink & some noodle. So he likes school cos now he can order soft drinks w/o asking for approval  .

Hi... Can somebody tell me if CCA is compulsory, and what are the pros (academic sense) of having a CCA? Many thanks! ๐Ÿ˜„

Talking about CCA, can someone advise me whether P1 is too young for BB? Thanks.

Dd got Mdm Jenny See (EMS) and Mr Wong Phuay Hang (CL) as her teachers this year. ๐Ÿ˜„ She likes them already. ๐Ÿ˜‰

i am not familiar with those teachers...so is the top class get the best teachers?

Aiyoh php, this is a politically incorrect statement. You must rephrase your qn as 'so just wondering (act innocent a bit here with a british slang) does the top class get the most demanding teachers who can bring out the best in them?'

Liddat we won't offend any teachers mah. They read our threads here you know
