You are right! It doesn't make any difference. If it made a difference, you would see long queue one month before the P1 registration starts for popular schools.

I am sure there will be a lot of parents. Just that not sure how many are members of KSP.com. -
Hi, i am new here and need some advice for my galβs registration this year.
My gal falls under phase 2A2, so is it confirmed 100% will get into the school? Also i notice that they need a letter from the school to state that i was a previous student. What letter is that and how do I obtain it? Is report book sufficient?
Thanks! -

So far, we have not witnessed any balloting in P2A. Hence, you can safely say that it is as good as 100%. Imagine, if you need balloting in P2A, that means there won't be any places left for P2B, P2C, etc. Don't think MOE will allow this to happen.
For P2A2, yes, report book should be sufficient. -

If your child does not get into PHPS in P2C, you will not be able to apply with Henry Park in P2CS, because places Henry Park will likely be taken up in P2C, too. For P2CS, you will have to apply to schools that still have vacancies in P2CS. Popular schools are generally filled up in P2C. Hence, you will have to go to those not so popular school. Unfortunately, Henry Park is not one of those. Can i check juz in case ok...if sekali cannot get PHPS...do u know how it works for P2C Sup? Yes, report book is good enough...I used that last year to register my daughter. Or else you can use the PSLE cert which bears the name of the school. -

According to the balloting history, Bt Timah Pri School still had vacancies after P2CS. Hence, if you are prepared to send your son to this school, there is no harm in trying PHPS in P2C. If, unfortunately, your son gets balloted out of PHPS, you will have to register him in Bt Timah.
I do not have any idea on Bt Timah Pri School. Perhaps you would like to read through the following thread to find out more information?

Hi all,
I am new in posting to the forum although i have been an observer for quite a while. Need the opinions of parents here.
My DS is registering in 2011
Option 1 - Nan Hua ( within 1 km ) - Had applied for PV way back in 2009 but rejected
.
Option 2 - Qifa ( 100m away !
)
Had always wanted to try to ballot for Nanhua under phase 2C but typical percentage is 230/100. Initially thought that if Nan Hua couldn't get in will put him in Qifa ( I thought sure will have space in phase 2C Supp ) But alas last year for the 1st time there is balloting for 1-2KM !!
Should i try for nan hua and hope that this year Qifa will still have space for Phase 2C ? or should I simply just go for Qifa as it is literally at my door step only ?
I still have DS 2 and DD3 to think of..
Both me and my hubby pri sch no longer in existence...
Thanks for your opinion and advise.
