I didn't know there is subject banding for P5 Chinese. My son is taking Normal Chinese this year, but during MT, he was asked to go to another class with 2 other kids. I thought the class he is allocated to is meant for Normal Chinese already. :?

There is HCL and NC banding at P5. It means those taking HCL will be banded to different classes and they have to pack up their bags and move to their respective classes (according to their P4 results) during HCL lessons, likewise for the NC too.

Dd told me that the handbook shows that reporting time for am session is 7:10am. Her FT also re-iterated it on the visualiser today.

My dd came back with the time table today.

I think for P2 - Maths and HCL are banded.

Oops! πŸ‘… Really?! I thought it was 7.20am and anytime after 7.20am they will be subjected to disciplinary action? Hey, sorry about it, E3... I just asked DD again and she has also re-confirmed it's 7.10am... Maybe I should change my name to Blur Mama instead of Happy Mama... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

My boy only mentioned Maths banding. Has not seen the Science/Chinese teachers. He was told the Maths teacher could be Sci HOD 😒

He also has a Co-Form teacher. How different is a Co-Form teacher from a Form teacher?

Btw, his class is very big- 45 pupils with more than 1/2 are boys.

                Hi, jennifer:
Our DS may in the same class. my boy said the same thing yesterday.

Good if there is someone in this forum whose child will b in the same class as my boy, can share notes on his behaviour πŸ˜‰

Oh, today confirmed HOD Sci is not going to be his MA teacher :celebrate:

First day MA class, teacher did not teach much from the textbook but got homework to do :? So the pupils are to prepare themselves before going for lessons. Is this the norm in P4?

Ytd, EL assignment: journal writing \"About Me\". Today, MT assignment: journal writing \"About Me\".[/quote]For Your Info ....
P6 EL 1st Journal Writing .... Guess What????
                \"ABOUT ME\", Of Course!!!!
Guess Teacher Will Get to Know Each Kid in the Class this Way????

Haha, no worries. I sent them off later today since I thought she was very early yesterday. She reached at 7:05am and she said she was just a teeny bit earlier than reporting time. She preferred to resume yesterday's timing of 6:55am. I think she didn't want to lose the Gold Model Pupil badge at the end of the year. Haha.

                        Now, I am confused... :? :?
