Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools

Thanks all parents for your suggestions and opinions. : )
We will monitor the situation and station at both qifa and Nan Hua. My feel at the moment is We may still give Nan Hua a try. Maybe my son will be lucky
I may look for alternative back up as i am also within 2km of Fu Hua ( Jurong East School ) and Pei Tong ( Clementi ) These 2 schools historically still have plenty of spaces in phase 2C supp. Any parents have feedback on these 2 schools ?
Many Thanks in advance.

------------Hi All!!
I'm a mother to a wonderful \"pig\" year (2007) girl and would like to network and get to know more parents out there!
Though I know that it would be another few years before she attends pri school, I am already feeling stressed out over which Pri School to send her to. So hope you guys can give me some advice!
I am staying in Kovan currently and have interest to send her to Rosyth School (I'm within 2km). Though I know its virtually impossible to enrol her unless I move within 1Km and PV / grassroot or beg (kidding)
I'm from Kong Hwa School previously so alot of my friends have advise me to just go for Kong Hwa and not waste time to PV for Rosyth ...
Can anyone share some thoughts on this? Thanks! :?
Hey Snowen,
how re u? Im also a Mum of 2007 gal but she is born in Jan, so considered as the year of a dog.. Coincidentally, I stayed in Serangoon, so we can exchange notes & pointers as our girl progress along the same age line.. you can PM me

hi sorry i canโt put it in black and white why my brother did not allow my younger nephew to qifa. The boy went to pei tong instead.

Bukit timahHi,
Happy New Year 2011. My baby gal is about 18 months now and I am keen to know about the good schools in Singapore. Though one may feel it is too early, I am seeking this information now as we are planning to buy our first home in Singapore. We would like to consider the proximity of our new house to good schools as a key deciding factor.
Any inputs will be highly appreciated. You can email me your suggestions to [email protected].

Hi
Iโm new.
Iโm also a 2007 mommy but mine is a boy. Iโm staying at hougang so Rosyth is also one of my choice. Itโs within 2km. Guess our "piggies" will probably face the same situation as those dragon kids gg to pri 1.
