DH was from Oldham. He was quite active in track & field, and he was most upset that DS1 was sent to LSG (grey shirt)! Sorry, but I don't get it lor...

Btw, i actually bought one of those springy coil things a few months ago... But was wondering, can the boys use a lanyard to attach to their wallet and hang it around their neck? You know, nowadays lanyards can look very fashionable and my ds has quite a few from Universal Studios, Disneyland, etc. Does the school allow them to carry their wallets using lanyards? Or would they look too silly??

Hmm... I don't really see any boys using lanyard with wallet. But I'm not sure for this year P1 will there be any one using that. But I did saw boys using lanyard to hook the name tag (which the P1 boys will wear it for the first few weeks).

Cos' I personally feel, the wallet can be quite distracting for the boy, he might keep playing with it. And wallet is heavier than a name tag. And also during PE, he have to remove the wallet and might misplace it somewhere. Just my thots.

In the end I think my son doesn’t need a wallet at all. He didn’t spend any money for the first two days! He would rather eat from his lunchbox. I think it’s still quite intimidating for the boys to buy from the stalls.

Hi! My son’s in 1.8. So far so good…glad he didn’t cry in school. Was informed by the bibibaba pple that there will be a new design of shorts out after Jan 20 which is longer than the current PE shorts. So got to check with them again after the 20th.

1.8? How coincidence! I'm helping out taking care of this class for recess!

I think the short that you refer to is the Corporate Short (More like the Tennis Short). This is to be wear with the Corporate White Tee on every Friday. If you refer to their Student Companion Book, there are picture of the school uniform.

Thanks for taking care of them! How long will the parent shepherds be around for recess? My son's still not confident about buying food from the canteen.

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy and have not been checking the forum.
Next week will be the last week.
So far, the P1 boys are generally doing very well. For this class, they are quite organised. They got into the routine and know exactly what to do. And they even started to mix and play with one another.

Maybe, you want to text me your son's name and I will get the moms on duty to keep a look out for him. Don't worry, sooner or later, he will get the hang of it. Keep on encourage him! :lol:
