Alamak, Will I B Spending 3x What I Spend at the Popular BookFair?
The most comprehensive Popular islandwide is imho @ Compass Height. At least twice the variety of assessment books compared to IMM (and IMM is considered big oredi). Once I drove all the way there during lunch, was hooked on the variety of books and totally lost track of time .... only for my boss to ring me & asked where was I  :lol:janet_lee88:
The other Popular that is comprehensive and not squeezy would be City Square...while I patronize Popular, hubby and kids are at Metro.
I strongly recommend all parents to at least visit that branch once. You won't regret it.
IF So Tempting, May HAve to REFRAIN to Visit the Place!!!!

like that this year must book a place for my dd liao.....i definitely cannot teach Science......
Wow THANX for the long post.....i sweat when reading this
Hi... Heard that the science is good from the parent that send their child there! But the places was snap up like hot cakes... A long wait-list!rcxmum:
i heard this one not bad... Perceptum at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre...can't confirm this as my dd is only P2.... maybe the rest of them can share their views...
but then again...we must learn from past experience esp when you've put your learnings down in such a structured manner... hv to really think hard on how we will manage this since both I worked long hours and my dh is quite bo-chap. Feel like quitting my job oredi... :faint: -

That was indeed a suaku question....at Seng Kang......
It is compass POINT rt?
suaku here...where is compass height??ruaqt2:
This is really testing my powess of visualization. I've to say the Compass Height one is bigger than both. I'm comparing the variety of assessment books on display. Why don't you all go there this weekend? Don't worry, if you find that the trip is not beneficial, just claim mileage from Popular lor, keke.
I went to look up the Popular Website, they hv only 1 outlet in compass point in seng kang. -

For the mass CCA in hall, do you think they need to be in PE attire?
Why the PE class so short..half hour only..by the time the kids line up to go to and fro, half hour gone...
Aiyo..so much focus on academics now..my fondest memories of pei hwa back then were of the PE lessons and games with my classmates.. -

Hi... Can conclude tat not all P1 classes have the time-table with these explanations! Am grateful that my ds's ft gave us a comprehensive one

Sch CL teacher did not give him the sch tingxie/moxie list but told the class next Wed has tingxie :? Please pray for me this is only a one time oversight, we did not get a sotong or an irresponsible teacher :xedfingers:
I can understand your concern with regard to getting a responsible teacher, especially after your experiences last year. You have been victorious in coping with that and your ds even improved with your help. So, don't worry, can't be worse this year. We will still pray though.
My dd's ε¬ε will start on the 3rd Wed 19/1 but she had received the list and assigned to practise writing all the phrases in the δΉ εζ¬ε as homework, so you might want to double-check with your CL teacher whether it is next Wed or 19/1. The schedule could be different for P3 and P4, this I am not too sure.
Do take care.

Reflections kept you awake?
I am still trying to cope with the lack of sleep.
I tell myself it's going to be like this now as for the next few years to sec, dd will always be in the am session. Your dd is still in the pm, treasure it while you can. However, my dd has effectively more time (she doesn't take naps) after school than when she was in the pm session, so that is a good thing, we have more mother-daughter time, family time too.

My son has always been inattentive in class so he doesn't come back to share with me what he learnt in kindy also. Aiya...see how it goes lah. Just got the timetable, can't decipher his handwriting. Gotto go find tat post which got the explanation one. FTGP?/ E? Must wear PE attire or not?
You will only need to wear PE Attire on PE Lesson, Hall PE and Mass CCA.
As for the Hall this and that ... it is to buy time to allow P3-6 to be dismissed. So P1-2 will stay in the hall till 1:30pm. -

I suggest \"outsource\" first but you have to monitor. I think P1 is still manageable. Then after P1, you can refelct\" like meWow THANX for the long post.....i sweat when reading this

then decided the next course of action for next year.
