She's Been with Them Since P1 ....
And She's in Banding Class HCL 1 ....

The Creative Writing Class at RC is called 'Creative Parenting' right ? I just saw the banner when I picked my daughter earlier this evening. Looks like it's worth while investing my daughter in the class too...but wonder if it's rather 'heavy' for her to attend Eng/Math at RC and having CL tuition in P1.

Yes, we will receive 2011 year book only at the end of the year. You can purchase last year's one from the General Office at $16 per copy but I don't see any point in doing that because your P1 kids' class photos won't be in it.

Is Chinese Calligraphy one of the CCA for upper primary? i am thinking hard what my dd should sign up due to limited choices…

Is it?? Cos DS wrote down that chinese spelling on Monday fr Pg 5 -8, and pg 8 has both characters and HYPY.. so I thought to double check. erm.. Markfch, masshiro... can confirm??

DS only wrote spelling from pg 5-8. He doesn't know whether it's HYPY or 汉字. He didn't even write which day is spelling scheduled. He's busy playing Risk now and said he'll just write both when I tried to verify with him just now.

Logically I think that it should only be HYPY as sch haven't taught 汉字 yet. You know what? I'm going to refrain from telling ds this & let him write both :evil: . Hopefully the scolding he'll get from CL teacher will 'encourage' him to be more attentive in class.

Somehow I'm so glad there's no streaming from P1 to P2, seeing that ds still has that typical bo-chap attitude of his.

Lucky you...my son was streamed from P1 to P2 back then. He was in Grace 1 and streamed to Love 2. Most of his classmates from same kindy went to Charity 2/Faith 2...amazing :shock:

Thanks E3, i viewed that before. I am wondering whether they have purely Chinese Calligraphy in Chinese Society.
