Told my boy we wld try walking to sch first.

This morning my elder boy told me he recd an sms from sch that on every Wed, he needs to reach sch by 7am. He is so glad that we are moving nearer to his sch too.

But I don't personally fancy Geronimo Stilton's books (English) eventhough DD used to love his books when she was in Pri 1 and I bought for her almost the entire set. Actually was reading some threads and the parents actually let their children exchange with classmates in school..thot it's a good idea. So don't need to buy all. We can each buy some. Anyone interested?

Good idea. My dd exchanges with her cousins. She reads for the content and genre. Usually, kids outgrow certain genres very quickly so I don't get series, unless the series have continuity, like Harry Potter novels or The Chronicles of Narnia.

Yup, if they are avid readers, they'll move on very quickly to other types of books and will continuously be appealed by new genres. I don't encourage dd to read only one category of fiction books.

U walk to the back gate?

I thought of walking out from Toh Tuck Rd, cut across to the back gate. But no idea on how to cut across yet?

Good for you....No more terrible traffic jam along Upper Bukit Timah Road for you any more....your ds can settle down for his PSLE preparation....
