Hi, what do you pack in your kids lunch box?

Any 5 day plans?? or the same thing again n again? 😛
do you pack fruits? any juice pkts? additional snaks, van snacks? :?:
how do you manage all these please share? :celebrate:
now i have become a SAHM. so planning for a healthy one :stupid:
I don't give my son juice as I want him to drink plain water...he won't rinse his mouth after drinking anything sweet unless I remind him.
Next year will have a headache packing for recess as I will have to prepare for 2...daughter will be in P1. Sometimes biscuit or else sandwich or boiled egg...lotus bun or char siew pau.

        Some ideas here:

        1. sandwiches (can put in different ingredients - ham, cheese, tuna spread, salmon spread, fried egg, luncheon meat, sausages, cucumber, etc.)

        2. biscuits or japanese rice crackers
        3. cake

        4. pau or siew mai

        5. bread and buns

        6. fried noodles, bee hoon, kway teow, bi tai mak, fried rice

        7. carrot cake, chee cheong fun, pumpkin cake, yam cake

        8. nonya kueh

        9. dumpling, lor mai kai, glutinous rice (not too much or very full and indigestion)

        10. baked potato (with mayo and ham and cheese), or french fries or fried potato with fish finger or sausages or fake scallop

Drinks you can just give water but maybe once / twice a week have a treat of fruit juice or milo. Can also keep some small treats like a pack of seaweed or raisins or gummy bears now and then.

        Hope this helps.

            Another few more:
            - prata (can have it with sugar or with Yeo's curry chicken)
            - pizza

Heehee....it also means planning and some work. Every week grocery shopping or going hawker centre you need to look out for items. Always keep canned food (sausages, tuna / salmon spread, luncheon meat) at hand. Look out at NTUC for frozen food like prata / fish finger / fries /pizza / scallop esp. when they have sale, or the siew mai / chee cheong fan / carrot cake.

Bake a batch of fruit muffins or scones, freeze them and give them out one or two at a time.

I think spaghetti or pasta keeps well, even overnight.

Can also do a nice cold chicken salad.

I also intend to try making those cute cute stuff... but it's a bit challenging since DD is now in the morning session. Wonder what time I have to wake up to prepare... 😉
