php:

below is the first sentence of this year P2 深广 默写

      我的同学小玲,她的个子小小,脸蛋圆圆的,像个大苹果。
It was the ninth passage from the 20 passages that my dd received last year in one chunk. So the P2s this year had it slightly easier or the teachers decided to re-organise the passages, or maybe different class start with different passages?

The first one from my dd's P2 list was:

      中午,天上没有一丝云彩,太阳像火球般地照着大地.天气十分闷热,我汗流浃背地走路回家.

I was glad the sentences became shorter when the workload got heavier over the months so the first 6 were actually quite long to memorise.

Finally, her P3 class received the long-awaited 默写 list. It was not Killer as I had expected, at least not yet, I guess.

E3, is it possible that you are seeing the list for Term 3/4....or the school actually lower the expectation since there is no more top classes...
over the weekend, she was happily reading out aloud during shower and i jokingly reminded her to remember to use her shower cream and shampoo....

          She is so adorable 😄

the problem with her is that she listens to the teachers more than her daddy and mummy.....
Always the case... 😢 The teacher only has to say something ONCE, at most twice...but it sticks. But whatever mummy and daddy says, it's in one ear and out the other.

If Happy Mama has the same list (if she still has it), she can verify too. See, the class names are not the ONLY changes.

I searched my files for P3 默写...fortunately still in my hard disk.

              There are 默写 for 早睡早起,不要乱丢垃圾,搭地铁,共用雨伞,学游泳.

Hi Janet, how come the moxie is so short? I thought it should be in sentences? :?

The mo xie is definitely longer (5 or 6 sentences)...and part of a compo. What I indicated were the 'titles' of each week's compo. Hope I didn't confuse you.
I compiled all his mo xie together to form a 'mini' 作文.

I have a P5 brand new CME book for sale.

Only have son’s name written. What happened is, son didn’t bring it to school and was afraid his teacher will scold. He went to buy another one.
So, any parent keen to get it, kindly PM me ok ? Selling it for $4.

                Thanks

hey parents, how much do you pay for the ccas? DS brought home a slip for table tennis, stating that its $220 for 20 lessons… is this for competitive table tennis? or for all p1s who sign up for table tennis… quite confused… thought it was very expensive for a cca…

i got that too...should be non-competitive....i was shocked seeing that figure but anyway i signed dd up since there aren't any other suitable ccas for her....i was telling that for that $220 spent, she better learn and know how to hit the ping-pong ball and not to go there picking the ball instead....

no wonder, she told me, many her classmates could speak out the 人物描写 / 心里描写 in the chinese lesson, but she never could think of any... 😢

But seriously, I think that's the right thing to do coz as I was going through the mo xie lists with my son when he was P3 & P4, I thought those are very good phrases for Compo too .. but never have the discipline to copy them down .. now those lists are like 'salted vege' and all over the place already .. hahaha.

I should start doing so for my P2 gal - better still, ask HER to compile them .. hahaha .. thanks for the tips 😄
