Mine ONLY 10 Cents!!!!
 My pocket money is also 50 cents in P1Trapwithin:
[quote=\"janet_lee88\"]Hi Parents,
Are you aware that kids in Pei Hwa do not have to pay for school fees ?
My daughter (studying in another school) has to.
Hi Trapwithin,
I was given 50 cents in primary school then...now a plate of nasi lemak costs $1. My daughter in P1 is enjoying buying her own food and tells me there is no need to prepare any snacks for her. I'm ok with that, but she has to drink plain water...and no soft drinks.
PS: I think I'm also giving away my age but can't hide...hitting 40 soon.

I asked this before...hehe...If she did not sign up, she'll have to stay in school with the rest of those who didn't and no lessons will be conducted. That's why I will let my dd join her classmates for the swim lessons for the fun of it. It's a form of exercise anyway. She enjoys swimming and will welcome it anytime!
Sorry if this has been asked before. If my dd already knows how to swim (that is she has certificates), does she still need to attend the swimming lesson?E3:
It's one of the learning outcomes for PE syllabus. All students, by P6, should be able to:-
1) Swim one recognised stroke.
2) Demonstrate confidence in water without buoyancy aids.
3) Understand pool and water safety

Oh…I see, good to know they sort out the children into those who can/ cannot swim. Thanks. -

You are right. If she has to stay in the school doing nothing, I rather she goes to the pool. She enjoys swimming, anyway. -
Happy Mama:
My DD too. She even went for the additional Saturday training at Clementi. But the training was good though, cos she is now able to play relatively well and even plays with DH at home every other day. DH was table tennis school player during his school days....
was your DH fr PH too?? DH actually told me to save the $$ n he will teach DS himself.. but I know it wouldn't end up well.. somehow he always makes son
when he coach him on anything  rather let son go learn something first, so the father will not drive him to him tears..

If your daughter hasn't gone for the gold yet, can consider doing so during the course.
There are several coaches...the kids will be asked if they can swim, cannot swim, swim a little, swim very well. Then the person in charge will allocate the coaches to each group. Very systematic. -
E3:
Huh? Got exam percentage weightages in Handbook?
Haha...since we have the handbook, we should read it more. Looks like it's quite informative. I usually turn to the page for exam percentage weightages, that's about all. Hehe...Happy Mama:
Hi E3, the memo didn't state the CCAs, but I remember reading in the handbook that Pri 3s will learn Table Tennis and Basketball, Pri 4s etc etc... cannot remember cos I only remembered for Pri 3.. haha... but will check DD's handbook when she comes back from school later...
