About P2 Science Expression, how do they select the kids for the programme?

You will receive a \"love letter\" :love: from Science HOD. All P2 kids will receive this letter. Last year, the letter was given before the CCA memos. I am surprised that you've not received it yet. Maybe they had decided to \"change\" this year? It is optional but most kids in each class will participate. It is conducted by external Speech and Drama instructors from \"Acropolis English Centre\".

At term 3, all the classes will put up their own classes' productions for parents to watch. If I am not wrong, there was one similar one conducted for the P4s as well.

My DH was telling me that he heard from Science HOD that this year there will not be any Science Expression. I think they are renaming it to Speech and Drama but not sure if Science HOD will still be in charge... not sure if I heard DH correctly.... haha....

She said the teacher never mention anything else abt moxie other than when it is.

Just feel that, the least the teacher could do is briefly explain the meaning of the sentence and when to apply it since this is sort of like ready sentences for you to use during composition.

No point having the sentences but don't know when or how to apply. Or am I asking too much of the teacher??

So just want to check with the other classes if this is the norm when it come to the moxie sentences.

I checked with my son, his teacher did not explain to his class too. i fully agree with u that the teacher should at least go thru the words. :x

Can I check if your child's chinese teacher go through the moxie sentence with them? ie explain what is the sentence abt?

I asked my dd whether her P2 CL teacher went thru. She said, \"Nope.\" I asked her again whether her P3 CL teacher went thru. She said, \"Nope.\"

but my ds1 said his teacher went thru it when he was in p1, p2, p3 and now p4... :?

DH was judge for 2009 Pri 4 and 2010 Pri 2 Science Expression, so maybe Science HOD \"updated\" him a little on what to expect for this year....

E3 and Lizhi, just wondering when your kids are going to visit the Fire Station. DD received her letter and I only saw the schedule for R8, R7, R6 and R5.


We were wondering why R9 is not joining for the visit on 29 Jan. :?

DH was making a joke out of it, saying that R9 kids are special. They don't go to the Fire Station, the Fire Station comes to them! Hahaha!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
