      Mtdl,

Thanks very much for your info. Guess kids will eat once they see their friends eating. They also like salty food. Have u ever aske who's or where the caterer from? Does the school put up the weekly menu? can we request a copy? I like to see what kid is eating in school and do not want to repeat it at home for that day.
of cos kids has peer pressure when in cc.. and also might not really know what is \"salty\" etc. my boy wld reject some outside food as he generally preferes bland food.

Yes, i was given a full mth menu in the comm book. Yes, i saw the caterer too.. but now cant rem the name! πŸ˜› actually during my 1st few days there (can sit in for few days), i was being served the lunch too. pass my standard πŸ˜›

i tried calling up today to make an appointment to view the school, the lady that answered told me to leave my number and they will call me back in 1-2 months time. I was like WHAT ??? WHY ?? she said cos now start of terms so lots of crying kids, ask me come after they settle down. Crazy right ? I'm there to see the school not to see how well behaved the kids are.

anyway I heard they will be opening another 2 more pats school hse this year but dono where yet

          Hi,

To be frank, there's really alot of crying around. If I have a choice again, I would not have enroll my child to a new school. Because too many crying kids around. Teachers are new (inexperience)and they are unable to attend to ur child. lessons cannot be conducted promptly cos they will have more than 1 child crying every now and then.

actually it depends on the school, my DD was enrolled in a new school, brand new set up, she was the 5th child in the class with 3 teachers, and every 2 weeks there were about 2-4 additional students, allowing the time in between for the exisiting kids to settle in. Thankfully the teachers had good chemistry and worked well together. Of cos 5 new kids differs from a class of 12 crying kids.. πŸ™‚

heard the school is quite old more than 10 yrs already... no aircon. the school is scheduled for an \"upgrade\" this year. not sure how they will operate during this time, maybe move to somewhere else temporarily

                Hi

I am new here and a first time mum. In 2 week’s time I will be a SAHM so I can spend more time with my son who is coming to 19mths, born in May 09. He is due for Playgroup next year. I am already on the queue at Chiltern House as he is currently a student at Julia Gabriel attending play club twice a week. I am considering to enrol him for a 5 days programe versus twice a week.

Called up most of the branches and was either told they dont offer toddler programe or they are full! Mt Emily is currently available and I have schedule a visit next week.

Can any mummies provide feedback on Mt Emily branch? Thanks. Appreciate much.

                  hi

I believe PSH has a toddler program from 18mths. Am not sure if they have at all centres but I know Buckley they have it cos my friend's son is going there when he's 18mths (already booked a place)

I've also booked a place for my daughter for Nursery next year at Mt Emily. But it's not my first choice cos there is no aircon (some say good cos less likely to fall sick, but it also means more mossies) and I didn't like that it doesn't have proper classrooms. The place is rectagle shape and classes are seperated by low book shelves. I feel it could get quite noisy and distracting. That's my feel. I'm on waitlist at Claymore, so hope I can get a place there.

good luck with your viewing πŸ™‚

                      Thanks dardar63 for your reply.

oh dear, I am sure it can get very distracted with the noise from next class. I wonder where else I can go. The admin people are not so friendly when I call. Either they say they will call back, but never or they will tell me straight over the phone they are full!

Does anyone knows if the Buckley branch has school bus service?
