That's really something...GOOD girl, in order to be a volunteer even dare to catch snails. 😎

I got an uncomfortable apprehension that when it's ds turn to volunteer, he'll assign his old man to be the one catching snails instead πŸ˜› .

          Happy Mama:

DD came home feeling very excited about tomorrow's Science lesson. They will be learning about animals and her teacher asked for a few volunteers who could bring snails to school for tomorrow's lesson... DD being a little more \"kaypoh\" volunteered...

She's now busy catching snails with my maid. She has caught 2 and is still trying to catch a few for tomorrow's lesson.

Haha! Guess the teacher's method of getting volunteers does work because it got DD more involved and hence more interested in Science. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Lizhi, snails are quite easy to catch... but if like what php said about frogs and toads, then it will be a BIG challenge! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

 we never caught snails before... anyway, it must be an interesting science lesson.

Heehee, well I've never caught snails before too, but I guess since they've got shells which we can hold, at least we don't get to feel the slimy body πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Yes, I hope she has an interesting lesson tomorrow... and I hope the snails will still be alive by tomorrow, though she did put water and leaves into the plastic tank with netted cover.

                        Hi Janet,

Wow, I envy you ... my son is P5 too but he is beginning to feel pai-se to hold my hand or hug me in public - sometimes must 'force' him jokingly or cajole him a bit then he gives me a quick and  one  So I 'threaten' him that if he doesn't hug or kiss mommy goodbye, then I don't walk him to wait for sch bus ..

Btw, have your son received his CL Spelling and moxie list? My son said for the whole of this yr, all his CL Spelling & moxie will be from the textbook, highlighted as per teacher's instruction. Is that the same for your son? I thought it is ok to get the spelling list from the textbook but not the moxie list coz those are pretty basic .. Just want to know if it is the same across all P5, so I can have a word with the teacher if necessary.

                        Thanks!

[/quote]Holding my hand YES but hugging me NO NO. Kiss ? Naturally no way. 😒
No spelling list at all compared to P3/4. His textbook is a total mess !
As for ι»˜ε†™, he doesn't know either.
