Hi,
I made an enquiry and heard the lesson is $50 plus per lesson/per subject.
I think I might have heard wrongly.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks. -

hiPerceptum has its facility at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre and in Bishan. Webpage is http://www.perceptum.com.sg They have Math & Science tuition. All teachers were former school teachers. Mr Kevin Lee was the ex HOD of Math and Mrs Sim was the ex HOD of Science - both from the same SAP & GEP school - both of them teaches P5 & P6. Mrs Ong (also from a popular school) teaches P3 & P4 Math & Science.
My child went to Perceptum for Math under Mr Kevin Lee for this p5 year cos got only 60+ for Math at end of p4. He just got back his results - he got an A*.... From a mere 60+ to an A* at end p5. Imagine all the new topics like Ratio, volume, triangles, angles which can be so confusing. His school teacher took his paper to flash one of the answers to show the class how it can be solved. That makes my son so happy that he could solve that problem and all because Mr Lee taught him not only school syllabus math but some GEP as well as Non-Routine math. Would you believe that at one time he disliked Math and thought he won't be able to do well in that subject. He started to dislike Math in p3 due to a teacher in his p3 year. Mr Lee makes it so easy and now he feels very confident and likes the subject.
My child does not have much homework from school and in fact school does only Activity Workbook with them. No extra worksheets. My child does not do any assessment books except the homework that is given by Mr Lee. All credit goes to this tutor!
Two of my neighbours wanted Math tuition and came to my home to look at what is taught at Perceptum. They were so impressed by the consistent revision of past topics and the difficulty level of the work. My child feels very motivated and loves going to Perceptum. If at any time my child has doubts, he would never hesitate to go to the centre about 15mins before lesson starts or to stay back a few minutes just to clarify a problem sum from the school. Mr Lee gave extra lesson at no extra charge just to prepare the kids for the EOY exams (and they even had a treat from him for working so hard!). Kids received rewards and stickers like Shooting Star, Math star, Thumbs Up!, Star Student... One of my neighbours actually was under another centre for her PSLE girl this year and she noted that the methods used for certain problem sums are so much easier to understand than the modelling method. My elder child (was in GEP) said that he only wished someone taught him those methods when he was in primary school. My p5 child said he could do that well all because he has a great teacher.
(BTW they have very limited vacancies. My friend waited this year for 6 months and still no vacancy.. then decided to go somewhere else cos no one ever seem to leave the centre once they get the place.)
ur feedback was on mr lee for p5 class
