I am in my mid-40s and with a 2yo. It's exhausting! And stressful. That much is really \"buay tahan\".

is he the very active type?

my boy may like drums as he is active type.
Yes he is very active! The drums actually help him to focus as he finally finds something he likes.

hello all! i didn’t get to read all the posts, so not sure if this question was asked. oh, before i start. i have 3 boys. p4, p5, k1.

do you ever wonder whether it would have been better if you had only 1 or 2? i don’t regret any of mine, but i do sometimes wish i have more time for them individually.

i know we talk a lot about managing our time, etc, but surely if we had more time for each of them, they would turn out better - academically and in their character?

of course they learn a lot from each other, and they stimulate each other’s thinking, and learn to share and communicate better i suppose, than children with no siblings. but sometimes i do feel that i am shortchanging them, being busy with housework, trying to also make time for myself (so that i am not just a boring mum who knows nothing…), and neglecting them somehow.

tho i must say, now being a SAHM, gives me more time with them than previously.

school starts and its much quieter at home .

My children do not go to much enrichment/tuition. 3 of them learn swimming. Eldest just started creative writing. Am I the only 1 here that do not send her children to enrichment/classes? Until now I dont see the need yet, I cant say i wont in few yrs time if the need arise 😄 . I am coaching them now, until I cant handle, I wld probaly send them. but at times i do feel guilty, if i am shortchanging them? nowadays most kids go enrichment classes!

I think its nice to know music the formal way, but none of my children asked to learn music. Maybe they did mention couple of times in the past yrs but not really serious. I feel music need to have interest and flair, otherwise i rather not spend that $. My cousin used to learn violin and piano. He hated music, so after sometime, he dropped violin. Continued with piano coz his mum insisted. We always see him \"in pain\" when asked to practice haaa. Now he is 17, recently he told me he has not touched the piano for 2-3 yrs.

                    Hi!

2 ds (6 & 10 yo) share a queen-sized bed while 1 ds (8 yo) sleeps in his own single bed, all in the same room. imho bunk beds are uncomfortable and make squeaky sound.

                        Hi,

I have 2 kids and a third one on the way, there is quite a big gap between the third one and the second. Any advice on how to handle 3?
