Hi, anyone’s kids had attended the Student Leadership Training Course before? Can you share the activities conducted during the course?

I find that the timing of the course schedule for weekdays is very long - 2 - 6pm. Thankfully, they are on days before the weekend or the PTM.

Happy Mama, will your dd be attending this course? I guess she’ll have to miss next Sat’s first-day activities since her class will be going to the Fire Station.

I can update you via pm after my dd comes back from next Sat’s activities.

Hi E3, yes what a pity she will have to miss the first training out of the 4 sessions. Thanks for offering to PM me the details... Appreciate it so much 😄 .

By the way, is it from 2pm to 6pm? I briefly glanced and thought it wa 9am to 1pm which was why it would coincide with the visit to the Firestation.. If it's 2pm, then maybe she can attend it after Firestation.

Someone from your dd's class asked the Prefect Mistress yesterday which to attend. She said to attend the Fire Station trip since it's compulsory.

For Sat it's 9am to 1pm. I was referring to the weekdays' timing. She might be quite exhausted after spending the whole day in school. 😞

Guess many kids will be affected since there are quite a handful from her class and those classes going for the outing. DD is extremely excited about the Fire Station trip as she has been appointed the official photographer for her group 😉

Apologies, it was my overlook. DD passed me the letter when I fetched her yesterday afternoon in the scorching heat and I briefly glanced at it for seconds before rushing her for enrichment and had been busy since then. I just checked the dates on the letter again, and realised the other 3 will be on weekdays. Gosh, silly me to think it was 4 Saturdays.

6 star hotel in Michael Jackson's Neverland ? Wow, that would be a 3D2N stay even I would want to go.

Hi san03, you can try going to Queensway Shopping Centre to scout around, as there are a few shops there selling. There are quite a few brands in the market and you can either get Butterfly or Double Happiness and they should not cost more than S$50. I think markfch paid around S$30.. not too sure, got to check with him...

Markfch, are you around? Can you please enlighten san03?

Alternatively, like I mentioned to markfch, if you prefer to get a really cheap one (since you won't know if your child's interest can last), then get NINJA from Giant... but I'm not sure if Coach will allow them to use this brand for long. My DD got hers through the Coach. 😉
                      😉
