The good news for you is that you're on your last watch. After this yr, you no longer have to tolerate PH's idiosyncracies any further. Then you can :boogie: and once in a while pop by and poke fun at php.

I feel that TLL & TAS are 2 different kettles of fish. TLL is most beneficial for those kids scoring A whose parents don't mind paying generously to convert it to A*. TAS (BT branch) is more of a value preposition. Much easier on the wallet and reasonably good, but imho certainly not the best out there.

The above is just my personal opinion. No offence intended.

One thing in TAS which I don't like is that the class size is too big around 15-20 students. Seems there are no limit for the students number. How about TLL?

Usually 10-12 students but some class stretch to 14.
thank you for everyone's comment. i'm appreciate that those help me to make up my mind.  :celebrate:

Talking about homework, my colleague has been complaining to me that her dds who study at a neighborhood school have lots of homework EVERYDAY. Her P4 dd’s homework yesterday: 10 pages of δΉ ε—, 2 thick stacks of Maths, 1 stack of Science worksheet and 10 over pages of English worksheet. And this happens almost every day. Even her P1 dd has tons of homework (Her home yesterday: 13 pages of ζ±‰θ―ζ‹ΌιŸ³ worksheet plus 5 pages of English worksheet ). The girls have been working till 10+ almost every night since school reopen. And she always envies me when I told her my dd has no homework (at P1 and P2).

Hi Parents,

Do you find the teachers are holding back giving homework ? I have this feeling...like as if teachers are stepping on brake and holding back till after CNY to go full speed. Up till now, the MOST homework son was given is 12 pages of Maths from Maths Homework Book. I dread to think what will be given after CNY weekend. 😒 :?:
But so far my dd aldy had maths, eng journals, chin journals, social studies hw. the only subject that had no hw is Science.
How do you manage to have revision with yr ds? Mine has bn doing hw everyday after school and supp class. Cldn't squeeze anytime in for assessment books which I bought for her. And luckily I only bought 1 assessment for each subject.

How do you plan yr subject revision each day? What time do you start doing that and for how long? TIA for yr sharing πŸ˜‰

He had Maths, Eng journals/worksheets, continuous compo. Like you mentioned, no Science hw. As compared to last year when there were 2 extra Science assessment (test unit/homework), this year there isn't any.
Asked him what he has learnt for Science, he told me 'Water Cycles'. Somedays he would tell me 'Heredity' but then not complete. Then touched on 'Human Reproduction'. What's going on ?

I planned for him to do Synthesis/Comprehension alt Mondays, Cloze on Wed, Math on Fridays. Sat he has CL tuition and Sun for learning CL/EL spelling. Tue/Thu just focus on school hw.
Assessment on Mon/Wed/Fri about 45min to 1 hr.

ηŸ₯θ―†ζŠ₯ is still available today... by right, you should receive it too...this proved one thing - you didn't pay attention in class then...
the outcome was your CH standard is worst than your ds....hahaha.....

πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ Well said.
Markfch .. Pay Attention ... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
So actually same league .. butnot in the same \"space\" .. Yours is outer-space ... πŸ˜‰ Joking .. :celebrate:

Since when did you two become tag team huh? δΈ€ε”±δΈ€ε’Œ

Though my CL is junk, I devised a way to pass exam every time. For MCQ, I'll choose the ans with similar characters as the qn. For compo, I'll memorize 成语the day before and just blurt everything out in the essay.

That's how I passed my exams despite never reading a single storybook outside of text in my life. πŸ˜‰
Ha ha, same here, though I maybe also in another 'space' as u, I aced my O levels CL!

have you consider TAS at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre? Many Pei Hwa students are there...

btw, how is TLL? is there plenty of hw to do? I am considering changing from TAS to TLL. Not that TAS is no good, but i have my reason for changing....
