luckily my kids r not there. I'm already lamentg abt d supp classes as it's takin up 2 afternoons of my dd's precious time. She is left with v little time to RnR. Wld hv preferred more time at home with her.

Expectation is Inversely Proportional to RnR?

If Parents Can Accept Not ALL their Kids R A* Material, MayBe Less Stress ALL Round, for Both the Kid And ....
      The Mummy & Daddy!
      :celebrate: :celebrate:

I can accept dat, hence seekg for more RnR for dd, n umhumm myself. I usually start revision early so dat nearing exam she is doing lesser n she wld come to me sayin why she seemed quite relaxed. But with her supp class, n more school work, I had bn struggling to find time to sit down n revise with her. N I really wAnt to enjoy our CNY, so dats y I'm frusto. I
like pacing her revision so dat she doesn't feel up to her neck nearing
exams. But seems like P5 is going to b diff!
      Any advice, parents?

Talking about homework, my colleague has been complaining to me that her dds who study at a neighborhood school have lots of homework EVERYDAY. Her P4 dd’s homework yesterday: 10 pages of 习字, 2 thick stacks of Maths, 1 stack of Science worksheet and 10 over pages of English worksheet. And this happens almost every day. Even her P1 dd has tons of homework (Her home yesterday: 13 pages of 汉语拼音 worksheet plus 5 pages of English worksheet ). The girls have been working till 10+ almost every night since school reopen. And she always envies me when I told her my dd has no homework (at P1 and P2).

My P4 girl also has significant more homework this year. She has been spending an avg 3-4 hours each day to do homework. At times, she works beyond 8 pm.

Is Mind Stretcher really better than TLL? I thought TLL has been so sought after all along (though my DD is not in TLL). 😉 Do you know which subjects they are stronger at? English, Maths or Science? Thanks.

the result of CCA was posted in the school website. Looking at the uncompleted list, there must be many students not taking up any CCA at all.

                    Taking the estimated school population as 300 x 6 = 1800 students...
I signed the form about Choir $120 payment method yesterday, and was informed after the term2, Choir change from every Monday to every Mon & Wed per week. 😞 that is why my dd has no chance and it is impossible to attend any other CCA, exp GB.

Huh? Choir will become twice weekly? Wow are they training for some competition? Twice a week is very time consuming, isn't it?
