      schweppes:
Let me count thy ways: probiotics, good bacteria, good for the gut, smooth skin, low fat, can be used as salad dressing, good alternative to fattening ice cream... 😉

That's quite a few tempting advantages, schweppes... but looks like I am more tempted to get the thermal pot... but just trying to withhold my urges as I don't want to end up a Kitchen Goddess. 😉 😉

The best yogurt… is breastmilk yogurt…

My boy loves it and my hubs snitches it too!!!

Too bad I don’t have milk now, so we use Meiji fresh milk instead. Tastes very nice!

BTW, those ready starters contain a lot of artificial flavourings & sweeteners. I’m alright if it’s purely for adult consumption but definitely no no for kids.

If you want to give your kids yogurt, plain with loads of fresh fruits/fruit juices will be much better.

I’m using an electric yogurt maker. Tried the Easiyo one that Phoon Huat carries but don’t like it because we can’t control the texture of the yogurt. It only works well when you use their starters which I find expensive.

I am using an electric yogurt making machine, think the brand is Severin. I use a yogurt enzyme from Taiwan (which my friend will bring over each year). Easy, no mess, and most of all, healthy.

            Hi,

I have gotten a craving for Pink Berry yogurt after a trip to the States. I love yoghurt. Used to get Yami Yoghurt very often but now I don’t find my outlets. Anyone knows of good yoghurt places?

I see Yami Yoghurt in quite a few places - Ion, Plaza Singapura, 313…

There are also a few other yoghurt stalls now. Most food sections of malls have one or two.

I supposed frozen yogurt has less goodness compared to normal yogurt? But then, frozen yogurt taste SO much better than the normal yogurt. So I’ll just continue eating frozen yogurt… should have less calorie than ice-cream, anyway.

                  Hi smurfette3,

If you like Yami yoghurt, you may like Frolics, it is also not the very creamy type, more sourish kind. They have a branch at Serangoon Gardens and Orchid Cineleisure, Soghert at United Square is creamier but they have a wider range
of toppings. Berrilite (I think it is spelt this way) at Novena Square is
the heathier choice, it also tastes somewhat like Yami.

I have a yoghurt maker too. I don’t use starter though. I use Yoplait yoghurt from the supermarket and Meiji milk.

Yoghurt has strong medicinal properties, including the ability to stimulate the immune system and kill bad "bugs" or bacteria in the human gut that’s the reason why I love eating yoghurt.

Turning it into an ice cream like taste made it more appealing!the Probiotics from yoghurt give your immune system a boost.
