Hopefully the balloting for >2km isn't too aggressive. Then I heng heng got chance.
We are planning to move into the area, but needs to see which school he goes into first before strategising.
Winth,
New Town Primary & Queenstown having the same intake like last year? I foresee that if those fail to get into Bukit Merah would come to compete at Queenstown & New Town Primary.
Wish you good luck trying RVPS in Phase 2C. -
Yes, we will give a phase by phase report to help parents determine what their chances are at the end of each Phase.
anyone still have the statistic of schools being taken up 50% at phase 1 ?
Guess some of the school should be already taken up 50% after Phase 1.KSP:
School Vacancies by Phases — Phase 1 (as at 18 June 2009)

Heard Phase 1 don't have to go down physically for registration. The schools just get the existing siblings to return back the form. -

Hi!
I think you have this impression that all schools in central area are very popular because there are not that many schools in this area in the first place? -
Just realised that the total no. of vacancies this year has dropped drastically from 46,740 last year to 41,670 this year. Almost all the areas are affected, except for the 8 schools in Toa Payoh which still keep the same no. of vacancies as last year.
