Did your dd take it up at P4? Do you mind sharing what was done during the lessons? My understanding from a parent (now dd's P6, also a prefect) that her dd was offered due to her GEP screening test's performance. She was in Charity 4, Charity 5... It is also stated in the Annual (pages 35 and 38 ) that only about 20 over kids or top 5% were offered and they were selected based on their performance in GEP screening test.

The Student Leadership Training Course was the one offered to all student leaders from P3 onwards.

I could be mistaken, afterall you are the Senior PH parent here.

Hi, I didn't miss your earlier post. I do have a number of GS books, including the special editions, some passed down by my dd's cousins and some bought by us. She doesn't read them anymore, but I would like to keep them till my younger ones are done with them. Sorry.

However, you might wish to post your request on this thread http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=336336 in the KS Forum and open up your request to other kids/parents too.

I was told that most boys wake up at about Sec 1 or 2.
So in the meantime, I'm still waiting. But he's willing to cooperate when I ask him to do the work set for him, with reluctance sometimes.

I understand your frustrations...my son was just like yours in P1 and 2.
Refusing to do the work I set, follow me once I leave the chair to answer a phone call or visit loo...day dream when he was in P2.

Yes, my dd used lead.com excessively in P1 and P2. Her P2 FT posted many Math and EL exercises every school breaks for the class to do. The Math questions created in-house were pretty challenging. They were also told to practice the CL Oral items.

I think they have yet to receive their accounts this year.

If GEP is the cream of the crop, those that goes thru GEP Screening but noy the GEP selection will the next tier. I think they do focus on this grp and the top class. So my assumption is ... TTLT will from the GEP 2nd tier + some top class students.

Heard about LEAD.com. But what was that actually? and don't know they got the Chinese Oral Section for practice.[/quote]There are lots of stuff in Lead.com. From there, some of her teachers gave out assignments, school gave out surveys and there is even an email address and the entire class list in the email address book. That was how my girl recalls everyone's names.

Great! I think ds has an affinity for maths which makes teaching him maths fairly straightforward. He'll frequently do more than what was allocated (for this subj only) once he gets into the grove.

But of course for him nothing beats playing computer games though, keke.
