Here's my banana bread:

Verdict:
1. Smells like banana bread
2. Tastes like banana bread, sweet because banana was sweet.
3. Looks like regular bread but texture even softer as this is baked with \"Soft\" option
4. Cut 8 slices in total

This was made with total absolute original recipe specs. What I would like to do next time is to double or triple the banana amount so that can get some banana look on the bread or is the look due to super over-ripe bananas? I only hope that it is not too wet until the yeast fail to work with this increase.

Banana I used was \"Dole\" ....very sweet when it is a little over-ripe.

Ok bread kakis.. yesterday I baked again.. DS1 wanted to have the choco chip bread so i converted the raisin bread to choco chip ie added choco chips instead of raisins.. the bread rise quite well but the the choco chip was only below :shock: see the pics

The slices were not so nicely cut since DH cut it

Any idea why it happened?? it was written that when after 1st kneed add the raisin so I did that.. maybe should have added before?

LKVM your choco bread do look cute..half choco half plain. seriously, I'm not laughting at you

Thanks twinklejoy, this is the swee swee I am talking about. I was so fedup with my cheese bread, I did not have a picture to show the loaf...it looked a bit bumpy on the outside(I think the excess cheese melted and consolidated on one spot causing the bumps), not so round and curvy like this one. But tastewise, I don't get as much shiok feeling of the banana compared to the cheese which I put in 1/4 cup more. For the banana bread, I followed the recipe to a T. So now....I need to find the balance point of each recipe where I can increase the main ingredients to make it tastier and still look round and curvy. *slurp* talking about it also makes me drool.... Alternatively is to look for stronger bananas which can contribute to the look and taste better.

Hey I like the look of your bread - half black half white. No advice on the choc chip thought coz I haven't tried this.

hehehehe actually I too liked the look however DS1 wanted only choco part so rest for us only
