Oh my gosh she looks so cute :love: :love: no wonder ur mom's heart has melted.. actually once you have pets you somehow tend to become more loving towards all living being as such...


I used to bring cats home when I was young but slowly started not liking them anymore but for dogs i always have some love deep inside my heart..probably when my kids also become little older must get them and hopefully my DH will also start liking

We love her to bits even though she is not that cute now. I just snapped another picture of her. 它老了很多 See her white beard? :roll:

Anyway, share a bit of advice here with you.

1) Don't get a pet till your kids are older and are able to respect the animal. I am sure you don't want a scenario whereby the kid disturbs the dog and the dog gets provoked and bite the kid, right? Animals need respect too.

2) Don't get a dog unless the WHOLE family is in favour of it. Keeping a dog is a lifetime committment and it must be treated as part of the family, welcomed by everyone who stays in the house, yes, from ILs to husbands to wives to kids to even maids, and don't expect your husband to love the dog when he hates one from the very beginning.

Have a friend who got a dog for her boys because the 3 of them love dogs, but without first discussing the issue with her husband prior to getting the dog. Her husband hates dogs! :shock: In the end, the dog was the cause of constant friction, quarrels between husband and wife that left her with no choice, but to give the dog away, breaking the hearts of her boys.
